I love how you clocked the history of this show. Martell needs to live with the fact that he caused the destruction of his marriage and family and needs to live with it and leave Mel alone.

If you tell the truth, the first time you don’t have to worry about remembering what you said. Yes, people are looking at court documents which are public knowledge. However, was really going on behind-the-scenes and then reality is not being discussed on a reality television show. So when people feel prone to dig in order to get to the bottom of what really going on lies are going to be found out. There’s absolutely no reason why in season eight or nine we should be talking about what was going on during the time Melody and Martell were married. They have been divorced for quite some time now. We don’t even see Kimmy’s business ventures. Instead, we get her husband hounding her for sex doing the worst moment of her life.

I agree that he's upset that he wasn't able to change the story. I really think the whole "the big bad Melometer" thing was to deflect from the fact that Martell was arrested,charged and convicted of a DV charge. It definitely gives orchestrated but poorly executed lol...I could also hear...a little desperation in his voice. Like he *needs* people to believe this.
