Now that i just watched this I love and appreciate Akutagawa even more. At first I didn't understand why he hated taking a bath/shower so much, but then I just realized that his power comes from his coat, that makes him vulnerable and powerless when he is not wearing clothes. Then I recalled that final battle in season 3 when he lent his coat to Atsushi (which means he lent his power and left himself vulnerable). Despite his hatred towards the latter, this proves that Akutagawa really trusted him to do his job and save them both. 🥺😭💕

Now that i just watched this I love and appreciate Akutagawa even more. At first I didn't understand why he hated taking a bath/shower so much, but then I just realized that his power comes from his coat, that makes him vulnerable and powerless when he is not wearing clothes. Then I recalled that final battle in season 3 when he lent his coat to Atsushi (which means he lent his power and left himself vulnerable). Despite his hatred towards the latter, this proves that Akutagawa really trusted him to do his job and save them both. 🥺😭💕
