I had just been told I had cancer and would need an operation. Before I told anybody l went to have a coffee to try to let it all sink in. I'm a Christian man and as I drank the coffee they played this song. For me the other person referred to in the song became God and I suddenly felt very strongly that I just had to hold on to Him (you've got someone here to wrap your arms around). So many lines in this song reinforced this. I've got faith in us I believe in you and me. So thanks to everybody concerned with this song for giving me support at a critical time. Sometimes we do things and put them out there without knowing the effect they will have
Me and my grandma would listen to his CD's in the car together. And I mean we would jam out to them. Especially this one, it was her favorit. She died a couple weeks ago, and I keep listening to this song because it brings back the good memories. I'm playing this song in honor of her, my grandma, my abuela :(

I was once a crooner/vocalist by profession for over 5 decades (half of it abroad), retired now but (as a hobby) still sings for my husband (my No.1 fan) at home. Hold on! Thank you!
