Instead it was 3 years of patches. I was lucky to play it when it first came out without a hitch but I also spent waaaaay too much on my computer. Hell they also had to recall and refund every copy of the game for the PS4.

There are two or even three generations of women who did not aid in making those decisions for our society 50 years ago. There are women who preferred the traditional role of women and didn't ask for the rights and responsibilities of the modern female. And at this point, it is not a choice for many. I know a number of women who are in the workforce for survival and have no other options. They're struggling finanically, not because of a wage gap- no. I'm not claiming an unfairness in pay at all. But they have financial hardships, just like men. Even for those in relationships, a good half of men expect the woman to have a job to help out. And I'm NOT saying that's unfair. But what on earth are you even implying with this statement? Are your expectations that every woman with health complications must be self-employed? Or cared for by a man?? Are single women who work as employees a problem for you because of a biological curse that might make some of them so miserable that they need more sick days? Would you rather they not participate at all, become unemployed, and live off the government (your tax dollars)? Or did you have some kind of unrealistic idea that women just have money magically until they meet a guy and then become financial vampires? It's not a choice for most of us. And when it is, women who work do it because they DON'T WANT to be financial vampires. Or maybe some women who aren't me actually have dreams and aspirations. That shouldn't be an issue. Giving women extra leave because they're on their period while men get to work normal hours. Very "equal". If you have menstrual pains so bad that you can't work, you should see a doctor rather than asking your employer to give you extra benefits.
Endometriosis can be bad, and it’s something we men don’t have to go through. For the women who do, when it’s bad, they basically can’t work during their cycle. Now, the question is how do we deal with this. Medical treatment is not always effective, calling it disability has its own can of worms attached to it. The best way is probably to negotiate it with your boss. My wife negotiated an hourly pay rate with her boss that was slightly higher than the equivalent salary rate in the initial offer, she would just take unpaid days off when she had bad endo symptoms. She technically made less than if she were pure salary, but still had pto and other benefits. She was also an incredibly valuable candidate so they were willing to work with her. It is an issue that’s hard to address though.

I remember when CPR implemented this and the first thing that popped was: Why would I hire a female, when she has an additional 44-60 PAID days offs a year. While a male doesn’t? I 100% get that it’s unpleasant to be on your period and have to work. But all of my ex-girlfriends and my current girlfriend say the same: It sucks but I don’t need a babysitter carrying me through the week. There are some who experience periods more extreme than others, but there are meds for these days and if they are still extreme I’m sure you can work something out with ya boss

That's a policy/benefit that will absolutely never be abused, ever. Our office was forced to attend one of those menstruation seminars (It was a good 2 hours). I refused, saying I had work to do. HR said they were "disappointed" I didn't attend, then I never heard about it again thankfully. Also, that X/Twitter post is another perfect example of a company's inability to read the room. If there was massive support for that kind of virtue-signaling, all of the positive replies would have been at the top.

Most of the original team from the Witcher is gone and the same goes for the Cyberpunk 2077 team. The thing is that devs are usually not into activism but companies start hiring based on that and at the end those people push the others away and end up running the Asylum.

@probablykevin22 it's different for all women. Some have minimal discomfort, others have cramping so bad they vomit. Then there's those who have additional medical issues that make the period worse than it would be otherwise. My mother used to get sick on every period, then it eventually stopped effecting her so badly. On the other hand, I started out very lucky; no pain at all. But 20 years later, it hurts pretty bad to where I avoid unnecessary movement and I have especially low strength and stamina. If it continues to get worse at the same rate, I would likely be useless for 3-5 days a month at my current job in another 5-10 years. Attaining leave for such a thing, though, should definitely be made somehow verifiable through a doctor, not just handed out. The problem is, there isn't really a way to validate a patient's honesty if they claim the pain is much worse than it is. Even trying to use a one-time test, as I've exemplified, period symptoms can change over time so there would need to be some allowance to retest, which would lessen the testing's already-feeble credibility.

Maybe it's a choice if we're already married or in a stable relationship; the continual push for feminism made work for women closer to a mandatory way of the modern world than a choice. We have to eat and pay bills too. I was born after the women's rights movement and have no interest in radical feminism. I don't beleive in and never have beleived in the "wage gap" myth. There are two or even three generations of women who did not aid in making those decisions for our society 50 years ago. There are women who preferred the traditional role of women and didn't ask for the rights and responsibilities of the modern female. And at this point, it is not a choice for many. I know a number of women who are in the workforce for survival and have no other options. They're struggling finanically, not because of a wage gap- no. I'm not claiming an unfairness in pay at all. But they have financial hardships, just like men. Even for those in relationships, a good half of men expect the woman to have a job to help out. And I'm NOT saying that's unfair. But what on earth are you even implying with this statement? Are your expectations that every woman with health complications must be self-employed? Or cared for by a man?? Are single women who work as employees a problem for you because of a biological curse that might make some of them so miserable that they need more sick days? Would you rather they not participate at all, become unemployed, and live off the government (your tax dollars)? Or did you have some kind of unrealistic idea that women just have money magically until they meet a guy and then become financial vampires?
It's not a choice for most of us. And when it is, women who work do it because they DON'T WANT to be financial vampires. Or maybe some women who aren't me actually have dreams and aspirations. That shouldn't be an issue. At least they're contributing to society.

As a chick, why in the hell are their female employees divulging when they're on their monthlies to their employer? Like, that's way too much TMI for a boss to know and can be manipulated... all of a sudden, you don't have a period they might start thinking you're pregnant, which isn't their business until you're ready to tell them that.
Why should businesses provide free feminine hygiene products? If the business chooses to do so, that's their prerogative, but it should not be expected. Female employees are grown adults and should be responsible for providing their own hygiene products.
Can I also get an award for involuntary bodily emmisions? And some time off? How about cake? I like cake. Especially with a nice cup of tea. Two sugars please.

Giving women extra leave because they're on their period while men get to work normal hours. Very "equal". If you have menstrual pains so bad that you can't work, you should see a doctor rather than asking your employer to give you extra benefits.
Splitting migraine headache: "Keep working or your fired." Menstruation: "Have the day off."
I think they just realised how annoying women are at that time of the month. So keeping them at home probably gets better results
Endometriosis can be bad, and it’s something we men don’t have to go through. For the women who do, when it’s bad, they basically can’t work during their cycle. Now, the question is how do we deal with this. Medical treatment is not always effective, calling it disability has its own can of worms attached to it.
The best way is probably to negotiate it with your boss. My wife negotiated an hourly pay rate with her boss that was slightly higher than the equivalent salary rate in the initial offer, she would just take unpaid days off when she had bad endo symptoms. She technically made less than if she were pure salary, but still had pto and other benefits. She was also an incredibly valuable candidate so they were willing to work with her.
It is an issue that’s hard to address though.

I 100% get that it’s unpleasant to be on your period and have to work. But all of my ex-girlfriends and my current girlfriend say the same: It sucks but I don’t need a babysitter carrying me through the week.
There are some who experience periods more extreme than others, but there are meds for these days and if they are still extreme I’m sure you can work something out with ya boss

That's a policy/benefit that will absolutely never be abused, ever. Our office was forced to attend one of those menstruation seminars (It was a good 2 hours). I refused, saying I had work to do. HR said they were "disappointed" I didn't attend, then I never heard about it again thankfully. Also, that X/Twitter post is another perfect example of a company's inability to read the room. If there was massive support for that kind of virtue-signaling, all of the positive replies would have been at the top.

The best way to stop it from hurting so bad is the pill, which is isn’t a great solution because it’s carcinogenic and if I were actually looking for a man it would wreck my senses for romantic compatibility.

As a dude, I’ve never had one, but I’ve always assumed they’re nowhere near as bad as women claim and while likely uncomfortable is mostly an attention grab.

@probablykevin22 it's different for all women. Some have minimal discomfort, others have cramping so bad they vomit. Then there's those who have additional medical issues that make the period worse than it would be otherwise. My mother used to get sick on every period, then it eventually stopped effecting her so badly. On the other hand, I started out very lucky; no pain at all. But 20 years later, it hurts pretty bad to where I avoid unnecessary movement and I have especially low strength and stamina. If it continues to get worse at the same rate, I would likely be useless for 3-5 days a month at my current job in another 5-10 years. Attaining leave for such a thing, though, should definitely be made somehow verifiable through a doctor, not just handed out. The problem is, there isn't really a way to validate a patient's honesty if they claim the pain is much worse than it is. Even trying to use a one-time test, as I've exemplified, period symptoms can change over time so there would need to be some allowance to retest, which would lessen the testing's already-feeble credibility.
@@probablykevin22 Sometimes the cramping is so bad that walking, even standing, is impossible. A few years ago, the smell of pickles nearly made me vomit during my menstrual week for nearly a year - weirdest experience ever and I liked pickles!
