Another week - another vlog! This time it's full of all things house updates because we've almost finished our new flex room that's a cosy living space/guest bedroom when needed, the garden is feeling it's starting to grow into itself and our guest bathroom tear down has started! No wonder you're running on empty, I can't get over how much you've been travelling recently! It looks all glamorous and gorgeous but it's all the stuff you don't show, the dash to the airports, the early mornings and late nights, the constant sense of needing to look perfect at every event. I honestly don't know how you do it!
Bathroom plans sound amazing and yes, I can appreciate a good plasterer! Our dining room is the exact opposite, ridiculously uneven, wavy plastering, which we didn't realise until we were painting 🤦♀️

I would go with white walls. Most Parisian rooms are in a beautiful warm white. Also sometimes light grey walls can seem to look a bit dirty and dull especially when there is no sunshine. You cannot go wrong with a serene calming and bright white.
Would love a tutorial of the bafta make up. You looked insane. Loved that you wore the zimmerman blouse, brought it after seeing it on you, years ago. X

I have to say I just love it when you have occasions to get super dressed up and glamorous! You looked absolutely stunning in both gowns! Wishing I had some occasion fancier than going to the grocery store! 😂🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️😏
I love that you are adding more glorious architectural details! I don’t think you can ever go wrong with elevating a room like that. Personally I love white on white where the light can create shadows and highlight the various textures and levels of the architectural details. I also love a bit of contrast with the paneling different than the walls. I would choose the paneling color to match whatever the paneling/woodwork color is leading into that room to maintain good flow. Then choose a wall color, white or whatever would best harmonize with the other furnishings in that room, or mood you wish to inspire.
As far as a TV in the bedroom... some say if you want to kill your sex life, put a TV in your bedroom. Personally, I want my bedroom to be my oasis and as peaceful and serene as possible! So the fewer electromagnetic devices in there, the better! The only time I wish I had a TV in my bedroom is when I’m ill. And thankfully that is few and far between. Besides I can always set up on the sofa if I want to watch TV that badly. But everyone is different, so of course do whatever you think best. Should you decide to go that route, perhaps get one that displays various artwork so at least you don’t have a huge black blob dominating your wall in and amongst your gorgeous architectural detailing! But this comes from someone who believes your aesthetics play a big role in one’s attitude! As always, to each their own!

We keep most technology out of the bedroom. Alot of research done on a good night's sleep (and good couples' relationships) strongly recommends keeping them out of the bedroom .)
