I met Evanescence more than 10 years ago. I wanted to learn more English because of listening to their music.
Now, after a long time, I listened to their music. And I realized that I still love it.

Sadly too relatable. I hope you’re able to find peace and grow out of the web of that kind of childhood and into the strong and resilient person I’m sure that made you into who is your own person - worthy and enough just for being who YOU truly are. It hurts like hell and progress ebbs and flows but stick it out - just barely on the other side myself but any personal gains are worth it! Therapy helps. Distance and boundaries help. You CAN survive them.
I love that this only features the piano and Amy's voice. Even though the big Evanescence sound is epic 10 times outta 10, sometimes a stripped back version is just what we need ♡

There’s another version of this song and it’s a bit more electronic/synthesized compared to this version. I prefer the other version but I love the stripped piano version as well.
It features Amy's voice, the piano and a cello.... but I prefer it this way becuase it gives more emotion
