another ho-hum cash-grab w/B-list actors. Goosebumps was better and I don't care about all these creatures when I'm Pokemon-goin' back 2 back to Cali Cali
Same. Brings me right back to being a kid filled with wonder and imagination before those things got crushed by the egotistical and materialistic shit-hole of a society we live in. Cheers!
Omg ok so if at 1:45 she says 'this is related to Grindewalds attacks in Europe' does that mean we may see a young Dumbledore or better yet actually go into the whole Grindewald vs Dumbledore and the Dumbledore family storyline because that would literally be the best thing ever, it's all I've wanted JK to write about!
Always. we will always stand strong for all those who died may 2nd 1998 and for those who died in the first wizarding war. we will stand strong and never. NEVER. An equivalent of Voldemort will rise among us. Never.
I still think she should do the story following hogwarts founders. learn what those characters were really like. And it could end on Tom riddles first day or something.
+John garst lol ok, so maybe not the end part but I still think getting to know those characters and what drove them to found the school would be an interesting story
i was thinking the same! like a trilogy about gryffindor and slytherin when they were young! or a trilogy about young dumbledore learning magic from his teachers and going on adventures with his best friend who battle against each other in the end! that would be wicked! damnn im going crazy hahaha
to the ones who say that it doesn't feel like a Harry Potter film: it is not a Harry Potter film, it was before Harry Potter, different setting, different people but absolutely unique and perfect and only real potterheads appreciate this
It's movie that's trying to market itself by abusing the previous success of the Harry Potter franchise. Yes I hate it. The self plagiarism of the Harry Potter theme OST was too glaringly obvious and utterly despicable.
Don't forget to read Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them! +Alpha Boy This movie is related to the Harry Potter books because it's in the same universe, so it has the same terminology and creatures plus Dumbledore plays some sort of role in this movie. idk, maybe there's something connecting this story in the books. It can't hurt to re-read them. And the Order of the Phoenix movie was the best. It had tons of exciting moments with great music. But I respect your opinion regardless.
***** I don't hate you, I just disagree with you. The 5th movie had to cut out a lot because it had more pages to cover than any other movie. I thought they did a decent job. The details of the coins, Dobby introducing the room of requirement, St. Mungus, Gilderoy, and Neville's parents weren't that important to the movie's plot. Oh wait, Sirius did talk about Neville's parents briefly at the beginning when handing Harry a picture of the old Order of the Phoenix. At least the movie had Harry and Cho kiss, the Room of Requirement, the DA, plus introduced Kreacher, Tonks and Dolores Umbridge. I especially loved how nicely the movie combined most all of the DA's scenes into one song in the Room of Requirement. Umbridge was so well portrayed that people that saw only the movies despise her even more than they despise Voldemort. And best of all was the Voldemort vs Dumbledore fight at the end. Yes, they cut out Ron and Hermione becoming prefects, and Firenze, but hey, starting with the Goblet of Fire the story becomes much more about Harry beating Voldemort than about Harry and his school troubles. So I understand your opinion, but those are the reasons why I loved the 5th movie despite your concerns.
Let's just all agree guys, that Harry Potter is still more charismatic and stand out than this (part because it's purely British and British always goes with royalty and elegance), BUT that doesn't mean this movie cannot be good. I still really want to watch it.
British always goes with royalty and elegance ? Lol. That's just the american vision of Britain. British always goes with shitty accent, poorly educated people and fucked up teeth
Hearing them mention Grindelwald in this trailer really made me want a movie about Dumbledor and Grindelwald. I mean some might say ''Oh leave Dumbledor's past a mystery and don't milk it''. Yeah yeah no... In the books they do make it pretty clear that Dumbledor has a shady past. And they go into some details so we know very well that Dumbledor and Grindelwald where infact friends and that they did seek power and all that. And in the end The 2 Dumbledor brothers and Grindelwald ended up in a duel with each other and that was what killed their sister. I mean the books has allready explained this. I would love to see this put into a movie. Because Voldemort is the worst of them all. But Grindelwad fits into a nice second when it comes to Badies in the Harry Potter Universe. And it would be very fun to see the relationship between Dumbledor and Grindelwald on screen and see their falling out and see the Moment when Dumbledor manages to get the Elder Wand from Grindelwald. There's a story there wich the movies hasn't touched all that much on wich could work very well as a film. Personally with Harry Potter done and all i want more... I want more magical movies in this Universe exploring other points in time and other stories. They could make the Dumbledor Saga of a sort... As a trilogy maybe. I know many hate the whole Trilogy concept. But the reason it keeps on being done is because it works so well. Seeing Dumbledor in his youth... Seeing him experiment with magic. Obsess over the Deathly Hallows. Him and Grindelwald growing up together. See their falling out and see Dumbledor rise to fame as one of the greatest Wizards of all time. You could have the movies end with him stepping up as Headmaster of Hogwarts. I just want more wand waving action. For short, i want more WWA. O_o Wait, does this make Harry Potter the John Cena of this universe?
it'd be a love story of some description since dumbledore was in love with grindelwald so I reckon they're going to stay away from it, unfortunately. might get some more mentions and cameos but probably not an in-depth look like a whole movie. also there just isn't that much demand for it, most people want marauders or founders.
I wouldn't say it would necessarily need to be a love story. It could work if you treat it as a war film, in parallel to WWII. We assume that only the highest up people in the government know about wizards (from the scene in the book where Scrimgeour (i hope I'm spelling that right) visited the PM of Britain). Therefore Churchill and Hitler knew about the Wizarding communities. Given their actions during the war, I wouldn't put it past either of those two to use magic as weapons of war. Little is known about Grindelwald's and Dumbledore's past before their duel in 1945 (see the parallel with WWII?), so it would be easy to make up. What we do know about Grindelwald is that he's a master manipulator. He could easily play along with Hitler's plan for Germany and then backstab him like Hydra did in Captain America, using Imperio on Adolf Hitler himself, starting WWII and oppressing the Muggles of every nation under Nazi control. Then with an elite squad of British Aurors (and possibly some elite Muggles) handpicked by Churchill and the Minister of Magic themselves, Dumbledore could lead a campaign into Nazi Germany (now secretly controlled by Grindelwald) to remove him from power.
it'll just be Albus vs. Grindelwald, his brother had no part in it. all he cared about was caring for his sister who ended up 'Broken' or whatever was mentioned in the 7th book.
Stabby McStabberson yeah that sounds awesome. 1/10 would watch. what I'm getting at is that dumbledore's love for grindelwald was why he was sucked in in the first place and I'm doubtful that hollywood would want to feature that element of the story. it's a war tale and it's a tragedy but it is also a story of unrequited (we assume) love, and not heterosexual love, which is what makes me think that it'll be passed over for being made into a film. I hope I'm wrong. of course, they might be scummy enough to turn it into a platonic bromance instead, which would be even worse tbh
Which is why every trailer should have closed captions. What about all the hard of hearing and deaf people and people who speak English as a foreign language?
I've seen this movie yesterday and it was amazing. I can't understand the "professional critics" against this movie. I would watch it again. Totally worth it.
Yeah, they mentioned Grindelwald. "If these are related to the Grindelwald attacks in Europe, this could mean war." I am seriously hoping for an appearance
I dunno, the fact it's so Americanised is off putting. One of the biggest draws for Harry Potter was that it was so British, it made it stand out from other blockbusters. This doesn't feel like a Harry Potter film. It feels generic.
Harry Potter stood out because the books were fantastic. Unique. The movies themselves were mediocre in comparison (but still good). And personally, I always liked that there are witches and wizards everywhere. But then - I'm Canadian and I spent a long time trying to imagine a school over here, obsessing over the fact that there are Canadian Quidditch teams in Quidditch Through the Ages. Any connection I could find. Britan is a tiny part of the world. Why wouldn't they expand? I think J.K. Rowling is much too brave to simply keep her stories closeted away at home.
I'm really hyped, but what a movie like this needs is heart. A magical feeling, you know what I mean. The trailer didn't really do it for me, but I guess we'll see when the actual movie comes out. Tried too hard to be epic.
If you go to watch the movie, you will hear it at the beginning as well. I was clapping my hands when I heard the theme. So nostalgic and so excited to see magic back. :D
Claire Shi I know someone who has never seen or read Harry Potter and she said she hates it like WTF GURL YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT'S ABOUT!?!?!? yup
So I've made it my goal to alert as many people as possible on here: The CGI isn't finished yet. Often times in films, they will release draft versions of footage to get the audience hyped, while also working on what they have in order to make it as realistic as possible. Most films like these aren't finished with those details until very close to the its premeir date. I'd say we should wait to bitch about it until a week before it comes out. :)
Wait a minute...Has it been confirmed that the cinematic Flash is Barry Allen? It isn't Jay Garrick or Wally West? Then again, Wally West is my favorite Flash, and I don't want the character sullied by the DC cinematic universe...
Star Wars: A Force Awakens is a great example of using animatronics and other CGI alternatives whenever possible, showing that it is possible to strain away from poor CGI such as this
Yea but also....money. Disney and Lucasfilm are loaded up the ass. And the budget on the first new Star Wars film is obviously going to be huge. A Harry Potter film isn't going to get THAT much, and cgi is the cheapest special effects technique these days.
No. I hate how people underestimates CGI so much. They didn't overused CGI, they just used really bad CGI. But trust me, almost every movie uses CG for a lot of things, I'm sure you didn't even notice most of it
I really hope it isn't one of those -we're special and strong, humans are weak! let's take over the world! -no! we're special too but taking over the world is bad!
I'm concerned now. The whole "lets not live in the shadows anymore" plot is very cliche and if the movie goes that way I'll be very disappointed. I hope Rowling can give us more than just that.
I doubt it, it will also be because they're being oppressed by humans. Humans are forcing them to hide and live in the shadows, it makes perfect sense for someone to be sick and tired of all that secrecy. Especially when that secrecy is on behalf of humans, even though humans are much less powerful than wizards.
Ok then. If you seen the whole movie, how does Newt capture all the creatures? How does it end? Who is that guy fighting Newt? Those questions aren't answered, so you HAVEN'T seen the whole movie.
p.s I like the cheeky Harry potter reference.I'm guessing there will be many references in the film!. the big question is will the run for 7 films or more?!?!?
Harry Potter lore I want to see in a movie and or book one day; The first wizarding war Grindelwald the Dark Lord (Could also be a Dumbledore biografy, due to the relation between the two) The founders and the creation of Hogwarts (Salazar, Godric, Helga & Rowena) Quidditch Through The Ages (WBs actually Trademarked the name, might see a movie of that in the future) Out of the four, a movie about the founders and the creation of Hogwarts would be most interesting. Even just a book would be interesting. Considering all the mystery surrounding Hogwarts and even it's founders, I think it would be a much beloved addition to the wizarding world J.K made. All be it that J.K is the one who actually writes it and not a Cursed Child all over again.
I watched this movie on Wednesday and it was absolutely amazing. So amazing that I plan to see it on Friday again. But I highly recommend NOT watching these trailers. This is the most revealing of all of them, and ruining the wondrous scenes by stuffing them into this trailer did not do it justice. This trailer actually revealed so much.
The whole HP series movies & books is so close to my heart. And when the theme song started at the end I got goosebumps ^^ riding down the memory lane and having childhood flashbacks :') miss the good old days when everything was magical, now I feel more muggle than ever :/
Guns vs Magic, reality warps, HEAVY EXPLOSIONS! Complete marvel! Not saying that i hate marvel, but seriously, nothing like HP. JK ROWLING! WHERE ARE YOU!
it's not related to the story of the boy who lived, so yeah, you can. but you do have plenty of time to finish the books - i read them in less than three weeks while going to school, doing tests and going out with friends haha
Well, they do mention Grindelwald in the trailer and that character first appears in the 7th HP book. But I'm sure they'll explain everything about him in this movie, so I guess it won't pose a problem. :)
+Achiim Zim it was surprisingly pretty awesome. The acting was on point. The special effects were amazing. So yeah. it was an awesome movie and I'm probably gonna see it again.
I rarely go to a movie theatre. I saw this one at an IMAX--I highly recommend it! It was so good, there was not one lax moment, and the story was amazing! Harry Potter books and movies have been there for us as a family as the children were growing up, and this is a wonderful way to preserve the tradition!! Anyone who loves Potter will not be disappointed!!!
You missed a part where chief Auror clearly plans to use chaos created by loose monsters to lead wizards out of the shadows and take over the muggle world...also, I did watched entire movie in the trailer...again. :/
Hamani Omarah oh, I would totally prefer if they keep the entire magic revolution in secret, so I would go to watch some movie about magical animals and be completely surprised by actual story :) Movie trailers of late are showing way to much of actual plot :/
All these people judging the trailer 😔 I would literally sit in a theater and watch Harry Potter study his spells for 3 straight hours ... Y'all extra tf out
I saw the film yesterday and I loved every single minute of it. For those who haven't watched the film yet; come out of your cave and watch it right now, you won't be disappointed! To the Harry Potter fans who feel slightly skeptical about this; don't be - this film is absolutely amazing.
Look, I'm hyped for rogue one and doctor stange. But this is obviously going to be so much better OMG everything is perfect, I don't even care about the weird CGI
If nothing else, this is gonna be interesting just by the sheer fact that the entire cast is comprised of adults. Yet it could easily still speak to either adults or kids. That's part of what makes this franchise so great.
Omg i feel really bad for you because you have no idea what i mean. J.k wrote both of them it . And what about the triangel? What about dambldoor? What about hogwarts?
Natia Kopadze You make no sense. This movie does not have those things, that doesn't mean it's going to be "bad" it's not a remake of Harry Potter. How can you say it's never going to be as good as Harry Potter when they are two different movies? That sounds stupid. Btw everyone LOVES the movie from what I have seen and heard. It's amazing.
When the HP theme started to play I literally just burst into tears
I didn't
spøøky jøshler 'øut øf the band' Martinez me too. Me too. You are not alone.

Hopefully they make a large amount of spin-off movies like how Disney-Lucasfilm is doing with Star Wars.
been waiting for that
been waiting for that
i belive dumbledore does not have a family
Emilyee, Of course he did have a family, it's on the books wtf
NEVER CLICKED ON A VIDEO SO FAST. I'M SO FUCKING HYPED. ALWAYS. POTTERHEADS, UNITE.

4224Fluke NO KIDDING!!! 💖💖💖💖
I still think she should do the story following hogwarts founders. learn what those characters were really like. And it could end on Tom riddles first day or something.
Tom riddle was born 900+ years after Hogwarts was founded... that's a big time frame for one movie...
Even a book series
+John garst lol ok, so maybe not the end part but I still think getting to know those characters and what drove them to found the school would be an interesting story
+Cordelia Enid gah that's such a good premise!
i was thinking the same! like a trilogy about gryffindor and slytherin when they were young! or a trilogy about young dumbledore learning magic from his teachers and going on adventures with his best friend who battle against each other in the end! that would be wicked! damnn im going crazy hahaha
'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Hide Them' by Rubeus Hagrid.

JKR has me trained to feel tinglies whenever it plays for sure.
I get goosebumps every time I hear that theme. So awesome!
Katka Tran ICONIC
Katka Tran I actually cried in the cinema when the trailer came to end and that music started xD Embarassing
to the ones who say that it doesn't feel like a Harry Potter film: it is not a Harry Potter film, it was before Harry Potter, different setting, different people but absolutely unique and perfect and only real potterheads appreciate this
I can't comprehend how anyone who loves Harry Potter would have a problem with this movie.
It's movie that's trying to market itself by abusing the previous success of the Harry Potter franchise.
Yes I hate it. The self plagiarism of the Harry Potter theme OST was too glaringly obvious and utterly despicable.
It is the same god damn universe. Why is it so bad? The movie might be great, which I really do hope it is.
that's what i think too
the movie was great for me who didn't love harry potter as a child but started to watch the movies more in my teenage years
FUCK YEAH - me when I heard the theme at the end
do you know what song it is?
Mery Mercado Its called 'Hedwigs Theme'
omg yeah hedwigs theme! I just got to the end! I'M SO HYPED!
Priyanka Payal I HAD THE CHILLS
DOCTOR WHO
*reads every single Harry Potter book again* Gotta be prepared
I know. But any Harry Potter related movie isn't the same without reading all of the books again first.
Don't worry,I will ;)

HOLY SHIT STEPHEN HAWKING AND THE FLASH IN THE SAME MAJOR MOTION PICTURE
You can't lock up the darkness!
D
whos the flash in this trailer
The dude with the weird haircut at 1:25, plays the Flash on Justice League. The actor's name is Ezra Miller
Cheers, I was looking for either the flash from the CW show or the flash from the original show, didn't realise it was the hollywood flash haha.
So is that a tease that Grindelwald will be the villain of the trilogy? Perhaps we'll see a young Albus Dumbledore at some point.
where do they say that in the trailer?🤔🤔🤔do they?sorry,i didnt hear..😮
gadha sr 1:45 "This is related to Grindelwald's attacks in Europe." She may say "if" at the beginning, but I'm not entirely sure.
+Deadpool oh..now i heard it..thank you so much😀😀😀😘
oh God, yes please!
As an individual who hasn't read the novels, who is Grindelwald and what significance is he to the story line ?
Let's just all agree guys, that Harry Potter is still more charismatic and stand out than this (part because it's purely British and British always goes with royalty and elegance), BUT that doesn't mean this movie cannot be good. I still really want to watch it.
Fuck roalty and elegance. I like rawness and ruggedness.
***** i know, but to me, Britain is associated with it. It's more like an impression of mine rather than a general fact.
British always goes with royalty and elegance ? Lol. That's just the american vision of Britain. British always goes with shitty accent, poorly educated people and fucked up teeth
Oscar Azgriel No, Im a foreigner, not american, i study in the UK and i love everything about it.
Oscar Azgriel I couldn't agree. more!

Thought I was alone.
Same haha
I thought I was the only one.
skollbrod in one part he said "it senses danger." I think lol.

El Gato De Tesla i tottaly agree

I want a Voldermort cameo!
Buenomars Voldemort hasn't been born yet, but there will probably be a Dumbledore cameo
+Kelly yes he is! this movies takes place 1927 and voldemort was born 1926!
i doubt they'll give a baby voldemort cameo (especially since this is in america). But i hope they give us dumbledore and grindelwald.
I believe they did mention Grindelwald in the trailer if I am not mistaken. At least, I do think I heard his name.
Yeah, they mentioned Grindelwald. "If these are related to the Grindelwald attacks in Europe, this could mean war." I am seriously hoping for an appearance

actually its not a harry potter film
***** It's set in the Harry Potter universe, not that you'd be able to tell.
AGREED
Agreed!! But I guess, the other parts of the world have witches and wizards too... even if that just seems... wrong :D
Harry Potter stood out because the books were fantastic. Unique. The movies themselves were mediocre in comparison (but still good).

It didn't try too hard. It was epic
Yeah I agree, I'm worried it will end up as just another fantasy action movie
+Declan Casey It was so epic yes! I loved it!!! ♡
Disagree, I've watch the trailer about 20 times and get goosebumps each time! Each to their own though.
+Freya Nicholls Me too!!! :D Can't wait! ♡
At the end you can hear the Hogwarts theme.
Verg well naw
If you go to watch the movie, you will hear it at the beginning as well. I was clapping my hands when I heard the theme. So nostalgic and so excited to see magic back. :D

The creatures were awesome, the flying serpent Bird at the end was gorgeous(I forgot its name now)
my friend hates Harry Potter but is now obsessed with this movie lmao😂
Claire Shi I know someone who has never seen or read Harry Potter and she said she hates it like WTF GURL YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT'S ABOUT!?!?!? yup
I watched it and tbh i almost fell asleep, the person next to me kept yawning too
Just saw this movie. It was AMAZING. After the movie ended, the audience CLAPPED, and that doesn't happen very often.
gryphon50c Yes it does lmao
dude the music at the end gave me chills
I'm actually really surprised how poor the CGI is. How did they fuck that up?
Kenny J
Still better than The Force Awakens.
Are you serious?
lmao you kidding me?
Kenny J I thought the same, how can it be less realistic than the first Harry Potter movie 15 years after ?
So I've made it my goal to alert as many people as possible on here:
The CGI isn't finished yet. Often times in films, they will release draft versions of footage to get the audience hyped, while also working on what they have in order to make it as realistic as possible. Most films like these aren't finished with those details until very close to the its premeir date. I'd say we should wait to bitch about it until a week before it comes out. :)
I have the date of release marked on my calendar! SO PUMPED!
its on my birthday:D
aquamarina93 lucky!!
like a breast pump mmmm
Which date of November is it?
Liva Ozolina 18
ok, WTF is Flash doing here now!!!
Flash ? Grant Gustin hasn't been cast for Fantastic Beasts
TheBrownBomber you must be fun at parties
***** Who said anything bout a joke mate?
Isaac Lim I like your name
Looks like Barry did not only mess with the timeline but also his haircut. Lol that's so cute
Wait a minute...Has it been confirmed that the cinematic Flash is Barry Allen? It isn't Jay Garrick or Wally West? Then again, Wally West is my favorite Flash, and I don't want the character sullied by the DC cinematic universe...
Remember the Comic con footage when Bruce came to see Flash? "Barry Allen" "Bruce Wayne"
looks like they used an excessive amount of CGI :/ still excited for it though
Really? I thought they would somehow use real magical beasts instead of cgi! Go figure!
But trust me, almost every movie uses CG for a lot of things, I'm sure you didn't even notice most of it
cgi can literally mean you can make whatever you want. you only notice cgi when its not properly done
WHERE ARE MY HUFFLEPUFF BROTHERS AND SISTERS,?!? :D
HERE
HERE!
Up my ass
Tabby Scientia HUFFLEPUFF💛🖤💛🖤
omg omg I'm gonna cry. I can't believe how much I miss this world. 🙌💕🙌💕🙌💕
He looks like he could be a Doctor from Doctor Who
Matt Smith was the first choice to play Newt.
Steve Rogers I KNOW RIGHT!!!
Have seen this movie yesterday, can only describe this movie in one single word: Awesome.
I really hope it isn't one of those
-we're special and strong, humans are weak! let's take over the world!
-no! we're special too but taking over the world is bad!
Soundyear judging by the last Harry Potter movies I doubt it will
Charles! Erik!
Sounds like X-Men
I'm concerned now.
Especially when that secrecy is on behalf of humans, even though humans are much less powerful than wizards.
grindewald being mentioned means we will probably get to see him and dumbledore!!!
Haleigh P if you watch other trailers there is references to Hogwarts and Dumbledore
no dumbledore.
Not dumbledore though his name is mentioned... and yes I have watched it before you ask
It's like a James Bond movie in the Harry Pottery universe. This is so exciting; I can't wait to see this.
hahahha xD
lol
"Hey, Mr English guy..." #Classic
If you're a Harry Potter fan or just a fan of good movies you'll love this
Love Hermione Granger go watch it its honestly astounding
Wow I just saw the whole fucking movie
no you didnt.
trust me there is more to that...
I was at a test screening. TRUST me, you haven't seen anything yet.
this is dumb... you clearly haven't seen enough trailers. You can tell when you've seen the entire movie, but this was no where near like that.
Ok then. If you seen the whole movie, how does Newt capture all the creatures? How does it end? Who is that guy fighting Newt?
Those questions aren't answered, so you HAVEN'T seen the whole movie.
I'm glad this is done by J.K Rowling otherwise this would be the biggest Harry potter copy cat.
p.s I like the cheeky Harry potter reference.I'm guessing there will be many references in the film!. the big question is will the run for 7 films or more?!?!?
They have already confirmed that they will only make three of these films.
gaming guy 2000 you do realize it's based in the same world right? Just in the 1920's.
3!? There's 2 more!? 🙌
gaming guy 2000 Um, it's not a Harry Potter "copy cat", its a prequel??
That Harry Potter music in the end got me goosebumps
Harry Potter lore I want to see in a movie and or book one day;
The first wizarding war
Grindelwald the Dark Lord (Could also be a Dumbledore biografy, due to the relation between the two)
The founders and the creation of Hogwarts (Salazar, Godric, Helga & Rowena)
Quidditch Through The Ages (WBs actually Trademarked the name, might see a movie of that in the future)
Out of the four, a movie about the founders and the creation of Hogwarts would be most interesting. Even just a book would be interesting. Considering all the mystery surrounding Hogwarts and even it's founders, I think it would be a much beloved addition to the wizarding world J.K made. All be it that J.K is the one who actually writes it and not a Cursed Child all over again.
Alexander Nikolai.....i like this Movie...Witches Live Among Us.!.....Awesome.
.😊
Ezra Miller's haircut tho
Do you mean Ezra Miller?
Johnny Twohats yeah man sorry edited it 😬
Pranshu Tijil f
The tune in the end...I feel complete ....finally we are home....again
I watched the movie last night. Now I have to keep watching videos about it. This movie made me so happy!
Only if Ellen was in this movie... :(
"If this is related to Grindelwald-"
OH MY FUCKING GOD, YES.
I feel like i basically just watched the full movie. They need to cut the content down on these trailers.
Words can not convey how EXTREMELY MUCH I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS.
Probably the 100 time I have pressed the replay button. Going to see this as soon as possible when it comes out!!!!!
I was expecting for Ellen to be photoshopped somewhere in there.
MY MIND'S SCREAMING yes yES YES!!!!!
Just saw this movie yesterday, and I'm still so in love with it. ❤️
The whole HP series movies & books is so close to my heart. And when the theme song started at the end I got goosebumps ^^ riding down the memory lane and having childhood flashbacks :') miss the good old days when everything was magical, now I feel more muggle than ever :/
I'm gonna need a lot of magic to understand anything Eddie Redmayne says during the movie.
To be honest, this really looks like a Marvel movie.
I know right.
Guns vs Magic, reality warps, HEAVY EXPLOSIONS! Complete marvel! Not saying that i hate marvel, but seriously, nothing like HP.
JK ROWLING! WHERE ARE YOU!
She wrote the script for the movie
she wrote this movie... so... maybe you shouldn't judge it being something else without seeing all 2 hours of it.
+Mine MLG goes without saying that this is nothing like before.
Can I watch this if I haven't finished the Harry Potter series yet? I'm just on the third book 🙈
it's not related to the story of the boy who lived, so yeah, you can. but you do have plenty of time to finish the books - i read them in less than three weeks while going to school, doing tests and going out with friends haha
+I hate You True...well in case she doesn't finish the books on time she could still look their story up on pottermore:)
Thanks for your responses guys! I'll just try to finish the Harry Potter books before this movie comes out :)
Well, they do mention Grindelwald in the trailer and that character first appears in the 7th HP book. But I'm sure they'll explain everything about him in this movie, so I guess it won't pose a problem. :)
ok thanks!!
when i heard the theme in the end i got chills all over my body
The music at the end gave me the chills
I'm so excited, I'm about to see this in a few hours!!
Random Channel hows it?
+Achiim Zim it was surprisingly pretty awesome.
The acting was on point.
The special effects were amazing.
So yeah. it was an awesome movie and I'm probably gonna see it again.
Random Channel I would have to agree
ok i thought the tardis was cool but his briefcase blows it out of the water XD

About to watch it in about an hour
can you tell me how it was?
It was amazing.
Samira Parsa makes me wanna watch it
THAT ORCHESTRA AT THE END!!! CHILLSSSSSS!!! THE DAMN CHILLSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
That nostalgic music, im crying!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last time I was this early Voldemort still had a nose
OMG !!!!!!! Once POTTERHEAD, always POTTERHEAD
CAN'T. FREAKING. WAIT. :-D
YEEEESSSSS!!!!!! ughh chills when I heard Hedwig's theme at the end
1:25 a Flash/ Simple Jack hybrid ;)))
This looks fine. But I still cannot pick up a decent plot. Wizards trying to find monsters... oh fun. Is there more to this than my mind can pick up?
You missed a part where chief Auror clearly plans to use chaos created by loose monsters to lead wizards out of the shadows and take over the muggle world...also, I did watched entire movie in the trailer...again. :/
no you didnt watch the entire movie. You're exaggerating.
What he said, plus the President of Magic said something about Grindelwald. It could involve a rising war against wizarding nations.
Hamani Omarah
oh, I would totally prefer if they keep the entire magic revolution in secret, so I would go to watch some movie about magical animals and be completely surprised by actual story :) Movie trailers of late are showing way to much of actual plot :/
randomnickify there could be more in the film. They just gave a little bit of the story.
All these people judging the trailer 😔 I would literally sit in a theater and watch Harry Potter study his spells for 3 straight hours ... Y'all extra tf out
I'm the only who cried in the end?listening Harry Potter theme?....
when the theme started playing I literally started crying
I'm excited for this SIRIUSLY I am
Cmon flash stop playing with multiverse
Anyone know if this will have sequels like Harry Potter, or will this be the only movie?
it's going to be a trilogy
if it is 3 books means 4 movies xD
it's one book, and not even a novel, it was a text book that wizard children would read, which JK then adapted into this new trilogy.
It doesnt have books. Its a new story. It will be a trilogy.
Keeping my expectations low
I saw the film yesterday and I loved every single minute of it. For those who haven't watched the film yet; come out of your cave and watch it right now, you won't be disappointed! To the Harry Potter fans who feel slightly skeptical about this; don't be - this film is absolutely amazing.
OMG THANK U ELLEN FOR POSTING THIS I LITERALLY GOT CHILLS WHEN I HEARD THE MUSIC
main character reminds me of Matt Smith's doctor...
I think Matt Smith was originally in talks to play Newt, actually. XD
Ravenclaws where you at?!
The graphics are not that great. Definitely could tell the green screen in some scenes. That bothers me a ton.
😍 November can't get here fast enough!
can't resist the awesome soundtrack
Look, I'm hyped for rogue one and doctor stange. But this is obviously going to be so much better
OMG everything is perfect, I don't even care about the weird CGI
I just had the biggest nerdgasm of my life.
Leviosaaaaaa
It's Levioooooosa not Leviosaaaaaa
95InTheShade, stfu bitch.
Another Gamer 2 Ronald's Weasley, it's pronounced levio SUUUUUH
The music at 2:30 brought back so many memories! :D
I already commented this before but I'm just too excited about it: GRINDELWALD! 1:45
yo Barry, you messed up the timeline again
Why did Ellen upload this?
It premiered exclusively on her show.
ew
xDDD
Sean Bean dies in every movie, tom cruise runs in every movie, and eddie redmayne whispers in every movie.
If nothing else, this is gonna be interesting just by the sheer fact that the entire cast is comprised of adults. Yet it could easily still speak to either adults or kids. That's part of what makes this franchise so great.
The end of these trailers when the logo shows and that epic version of the Harry Potter theme plays always gives me the shivers 😊
Yeah i am going to see it today but it will neverb be as good as harry potter
It's NOT Harry Potter, damn people don't know how to read.
This will never stop, right? The cursed child, FBaWtFt... Rowling was, is and "always" will be our queen!
Rowling didn't really write Cursed Child so I don't count that. But everything else, YES!
i want to be hyped for this...but the cgi looks so bad
Of course it looks a bit bad. Movies are usually not completely finished until literally days before theatrical release.
I keep seeing that when i trailer has poor cg. Unfortunately the reality is at this point what you see is pretty much what you get.
OMG SAME THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I SAID TO MYSELF
how is the cgi bad ?
I can clearly see that it's cgi. I want the cgi to blend into the film so I can't tell if it's cgi or not. this particular cgi needs some touching up!
I CANNOT I LITERALLY GOT THE TRAILER OF THIS MOVIE AS THE AD FOR THIS VIDEO
The Soundtrack tho. Gave me chills.
