- Actress Stephanie Zimbalist grew up in a family of performers. She rose to fame in the 1980s on the hit detective series Remington Steele, which co-starred a then-unknown Pierce Brosnan. She feels a strong "personal connection" with the creator, and believes above all in showing gratitude to the supreme being who has granted all of us life.
I so enjoyed this interview, she is so profound. I love the fact she believes in and worships Jesus.

It's not a big deal for me that she had according to her, at some point in her life, an 'innapropriate' relationship. It's part of growing , experiences we get ourselves into to learn from hopefully. I like the fact that she mentioned it even though she didn't need to. It's something that doesn't make you look good but certainly does make you look real and authentic. I was a teenager when I saw her playing Laura Holt and the character she created was an inspiration to me. Unfortunately I've never saw her in theatre since I come from another continent and never lived in the USA. Funny the way I ended up watching this interview.. I went into UTube looking for shots of that apartment factory-style her character had in Remington Steele 😄, which I loved back then and still do! Then, because we are curious creatures, I wanted to know how is she doing and came across this. As her grandmother predicted, she seems fine and I am happy to know she will be fine💗
What she was saying is that there was a time in her life where she had demoted her faith and pursued other personal interests. The epiphany on the plane was her coming to the conclusion that her decision to do so was in conflict with the life goals she had established. She shared it to provide context to what drove her emotions.

It is amazing that 1956 gave birth to 2 Stephanies, the other being Kramer. Both born 1/2 Jewish, though neither has ever practiced Judaism. Neither has found a lifelong husband, although the Hunter star had been married for 9 years, giving birth to an equally talented daughter.
I like Stephanie Zimbalist, but this video has a strange vibe. Her testimony is not that of someone who is born again. Salvation is by faith in the shed blood of Jesus. The Bible says "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." (Acts 16:31) She does not say that she is saved/born again/a believer in Jesus. A believer (such as myself) would state that clearly. I was saved in October, 1983, because I read all four gospels and my wife was praying for me. That is not a boast on my part, because God did 100% of the saving, and I did nothing: it was by faith.

Actually this is a kind of archetypal human experience. The traditional handed-down wisdom says some female spirits, because their motherly love for the family is so deep, don't go on but stay to watch over the family. In the ancient Chinese book of wisdom called the I Ching, which is sometimes used for fortune telling but also sometimes just as a book of collective wisdom thousands of years old not unlike the Bible, there is a line referring to just this. It says, "Accept the blessing of your Royal Ancestral Mother." Yes. God IS him. My heart sank when she said him or her, and, at another point, whoever you think the creator to be. The Lord Jesus Christ is the creator. John 1:3 says "All things were made by him: and without him was not any thing made that was made."
