Bloodborne is a 2015 action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. Bloodborne follows the player's character, a Hunter, through the decrepit Gothic, Victorian-era-inspired city of Yharnam, whose inhabitants are afflicted with a blood-borne disease. Attempting to find the source of the plague, the player's character unravels the city's mysteries while fighting beasts and cosmic beings.
The game is played from a third-person perspective. Players control a customizable protagonist, and the gameplay is focused on strategic weapons-based combat and exploration. Players battle varied enemies while using items such as swords and firearms, exploring different locations, interacting with non-player characters, and unravelling the city's mysteries. Bloodborne began development in 2012 under the working title of Project Beast. Bearing many similarities to the Souls series of games by the same developer and director, Bloodborne was inspired by the literary works of authors H. P. Lovecraft and Bram Stoker and the architectural design of real-world locations in countries such as Romania, the Czech Republic and Scotland.
Bloodborne was released in March 2015 and received critical acclaim, with praise directed at its gameplay, particularly its high difficulty level, atmosphere, sound design, Lovecraftian themes, and interconnected world design. Some criticism was directed at its technical performance at launch, which was improved with post-release updates. An expansion adding additional content, The Old Hunters, was released in November 2015. By the end of 2015, the game had sold over two million copies worldwide. Bloodborne won several awards and has been cited as one of the greatest video games ever made. Some related media and adaptations have also been released, including a card game, board game and comic book series. shoutout wikipedia lol

I love how the first half of Bloodborne is “what a darkly beautiful city and I’m fighting werewolves” and the second half is a constant stream of “what the f*ck is that?!”
Your editing is insanely good
thanks bro 💯
I love all the love bloodborne is finally getting all the attention it deserves. We will force Sonys hand to allow a remake or a sequel
I believe that when people said that they liked long runbacks actually meant how the maps where designed so that even after hour long runbacks you can just casually find a shortcut linking earlier maps to the newer ones, which was super cool. Like everything was interconnected. Like a spiderweb.
I can’t wait to see you blow up bro you made watching my favorite game all the better
Watching you not put points into strength or skill was so anxiety inducing omg I was so worried about your damage output ;-; I'm glad you played this game though it's an incredible experience
My bad, didn’t mean to stress you out 😭😭
@ajxeee all good you clearly kicked butt in the end! Subbed now looking forward to seeing what you play next!!
Fun fact. The Doll is based on Lady Maria because Gherman was once in love with Lady Maria. After Lady Maria disappeared, Gherman sought out a way to replicate her, taking the form of the doll. If you go to the old hunter workshop and find the hair piece, which was once Lady Marias, she'll get emotional about it.
Amazing playthrough, has been a blast following it. Between the uploads I also had the time to look through your elden ring playthrough. Great stuff and keep it coming!
DS3 is a must play
ds3 up next 🙏🏽
@ajxeeeYAS!!! Look forward to it. You got a chill vibe for this.
Fun to watch you do this. For many of us, BB is the GOAT.
Even if you don’t intend to play the dark souls trilogy, you should consider playing dark souls 3. It came out shortly after bloodborne, and adopted some of its speed of combat. Not quite as fast, but much faster than ds1 and ds2. As much as I like Elden ring, and it’s many quality of life improvements, I actually prefer both BB and DS3 to it. Hope to see you tackle ds3 soon. Cheers!
This video inspired me to start playing 😅 father Gascoigne gave me hell😂
Underrated youtuber honestly, good gameplay
Great video and playthrough, it's great to see someone take the time to appreciate all the details in this game. That being said it was pretty painful to see you do such little damage lol, since leveling health and endurance isn't really the way in this game with how much aggression is rewarded. Anyway more views deserved fr
This supercut of all episodes was a great idea, it found me and now I'm even subbed!
Appreciate the support friend!
Hopefully you enjoy the ds3 playthrough coming up
@ajxeee I sure am, please play faster! lol
have I watched this series already? yes. am I gonna watch it again? also yes. the edits are simply amazing. would love a bloodborne boss tier list, curious to see which would you your top favs.
legend 🙏🏽🙏🏽
also tierlist drops in 6 hours lol
I'm at arianna's part. still can't believe you sent her off to that place. made for a unique playthrough to say the least.
can't wait to watch the tier list!
Absolutely masterclass in editing 1 mil soon come. I’m saying it now
Great video. Bloodborne is my favorite game of all time and its allways fun to watch people experience it for the first time. If anybody is intrestesd about lore and overall what Bloodborne is about, I recoment An Agony of Effort by Charred Thermos. Best analysis video series of this game there is.
bro i just watched the whole thing , earned a sub
Fromsoft mostly started focusing on having the bosses the biggest part of their games starting with ds3 tbh. They were getting there in ds2/bloodborn dlcs, both made around same time.
Demons souls, darks souls, dark souls 2 and bloodborne doesnt focus heavily on making the bosses the most impactful part.
Some are incrediblely weak and more just a lore fight then a challange.
But they make up in other ways, every game has something worth playing for (yes including ds2 even with its gameplay missteps from being developed by different directers then the other games, dont get upset that people can still find something to enjoy in ds2 like me)
If you play the other games id hope youd keep an open mind as you deal with their quirks and understand that these games are the reason we got modern day fromsoft!
Subbed! Awesome channel dude
Killer game as well, one of my favorites
💀
Play sekiro next, that’s a banger 🔥
The breaking of boss limbs to cripple them....
DU"DE, WHAT KINDA MUSIC IS IN THIS VIDEO? THE INTRO GOES SO HARDDD
At 55:00 that'll transport you to another area if you have the tonsil stone, think u get it from a person talking through a window in forest area.
The one in the courtyard in near the chapel will take u to the DLC if u collect something from the hunters sream. U gotta buy the DLC tho
Stack items like molotov and fire paper, use square during bosses to throw shit and pass fire on the weapon to light it, you are very good
I love how brother transformed the hunter axe and then proceeded to not do it for any other weapon after
Edit: I take back my statement
Multiple failed attempts with Father Gascoigne made me put the game away for months until I finally interneted for a cheesy way to pass him, especially his aggressive third phase.
Enter the stairs trick!
Then afterwards, it was an incredible game! I finally understood the praise for it.
Even though the novelty of the initial game disappeared, I started a new one this time spamming the spin-to-win axe and I swear the game got better despite the OP repetitive cheese.
Now I'm stuck at Chalice Rom and especially his reinforced helpers. Again it made me put the game away.
That was my cool BB story.
What a great video. Easy sub.
"I did extensive research on the stats" proceeds to not only ignore skill BUT level strength instead
[Heavy facepalm]
Jokes aside, very enjoyable playthrough.
There is a Bloodborne mod for Elden Ring, might want to check it out if you're on PC. Great video overall!
Graceborne right? I’ve seen little pieces here and there and it looks awesome
Will probably try it out eventually once I have time!
@ajxeee I'll be on the lookout for it! Keep grinding.
U’re fun to watch ma g) + 1 sub
thanks man 🫱🏾🫲🏽
We need full review about bloodborn
Another comment for the algo, GET THE LIKES UP PEOPLE ! ❤❤❤
i like the editing style
Don't worry about anyone in the comments having a go at you: simply mentioning that another Souls game has a better quality-of-life feature (Stakes of Marika), or merely hinting that something about Bloodborne - or whatever their favourite Souls game happens to be - isn't perfect is grounds for immediate crucifixion for some people.
Bloodborne is an amazing game - one of my all-time favourites, but it does have flaws and issues. And some of those run-backs... Agonizing. Your opinion is as valid as anyone else's, so just ignore the complainers and keep up the vids.
Witches of hemwick to unlock hunter runes... take care of your streamer ya know.
another w from ajae
Play Sekiro....it was too good to be a side project. It has the best combat mechanics out of all games I've played
2:36:15 why is every attack in the next couple of seconds in sync with the music? It goes so damn hard
reminds me of my ass, when i got ps5 bout 6 months ago. i was wondering what im gonna download first after being away from consoles for 5 years approx. BLOODBORNE, i didnt even care bout 30fps. i just knew that bloodborne being the introduction to souls games, i just had to. loved every second of it. and will always embrace that first playthrough. then immediately legit stole my friends physical copy of demon souls remake! absolutely banging games. i really recommend that demon souls remake if u havent touched it
and sory for my bed england.
Your england is fine bro 🙏🏽🙏🏽
tbh I wasn't planning on playing demon souls but a couple of other people have also vouched for it, so maybe one day
bro please use charged heavy attacks and the trick effects for the weapons 😭😭
Took me a while to realise how strong the greatsword was 😂
IDK if you already have but EVERYONE that enjoys Bloodborne HAS TO PLAY Lies of P as it's basically the Bloodborne 2 we'll never get.
I’ve had a few people tell me to try it
It sounds really good
No co-op. That alone makes it mid. Otherwise, I love the design and mechanics.
Why did nobody in chat tell you about wandering nightmares or shooting bosses in the head multiple times to "parry" them.
Old mate first tried the bloody crow
Something I struggle with...
Spam L1, R1, R1, R1.
Remember me when you're famous~
Or transformation attacks...
Bloodborne is downgraded just so it would get a consistent 30 fps. Just imagine how good it would be with the right settings. Its a monster of a game that we all want released on PC. Console exclusivity needs to DIE. I bought a PS4 just so I could play Bloodborne. If they release it for PS5 , I won't be a PS5 owner. Hear that SONY?
Fight the power
It’s already released on PS5. It just isn’t optimized for it yet. So effectively it’s like playing it on PS4.
Sub for the hilarious commentry 😂😂😂 hahaha
If you want the most palatable explanation of Bloodbornes lore, check out Vaatividya. But be careful, his voice may hypnotize you.
what's the intro song?
Konpeki- electra
wheres the discord link?
I don't have a discord 💯
