  • Hi I'm Sophia. I was a pre-med student at WashU with a major in Psychology and recently graduated. I will be attending Columbia University Medical School (VP&S) for the next four years! I applied to 35 schools during the 2023-2024 medical school admissions cycle through both AMCAS and TMDSAS. I ended up receiving 14 interviews including Baylor, UTSW, Perelman/UPenn, Weill/Cornell, Vanderbilt, WashU, and more, as well as 6 acceptances including Vagelos/Columbia, UC San Diego, Dell, amongst others. Today, I share with you my complete stats that helped me get into medical school including my MCAT, GPA, major, clinical experiences, research, non-clinical volunteering, shadowing, honors and awards, writing, letters of recommendation, and lots of others. Included are also important tips if you're applying to medical school this cycle or soon! If you are interested in medical school application consulting or pre-med consulting either as a WashU or non-WashU student, find out more at my website:

Hi! Could you make a video giving advice / personal ancedote on how you achieved a 4.0 at WashU. I'd love to know if HS played a factor in preparation to your academic performance, and if you'd say your naturally smart / inclined to science!

I forgot that you were an ironic Asian family where the child goes AGAINST the trend by pursuing medicine. 😛
Sorry if you've answered this before, but what are you going to specialize in?
