"The Lament" & "Cathedral of Omens" Dungeons Fast Re-roll Spawn Location! | Remnant 2

- Took me 20+ tries to get The Lament dungeon to spawn. Let that sink in. My rng SUCKS! On the bright side, it's only about 3 minutes per re-roll! This same spot can also roll Cathedral of Omens!
Even though it's procedurally generated, there's definitely a pattern. And with enough re-rolls (because I have shit rng), I have found a way to get these dungeons to spawn. Guessing others may struggle so I'm sharing my method.
Reroll Yaesha until you get "The Red Throne" starting point. Once in "the Withering Weald" go towards the 1st World Stone. There is only one side dungeon and it has a chance to be "The Lament" or "Cathedral of Omens"! Hope it helps.
I used the Handler & Alchemist Archetype w/ the 2nd skill for increased movement speed.

You da man. Got Cathedral on the first try. Took me about 10 minutes to spawn a blood moon though.

There's a lot of rng and stuff involved. I think someone is working on a list of all possible dungeons depending on the world/tile/look of the dungeon entrance on Reddit. Hoping that gets updated/completed soon which will make it a lot easier to make videos for locations.

So the Cathedral is in the Lament or a separate dungeon? I’ve rolled it numerous times from the Red throne and never seen it.
Cathedral and Lament are separate dungeons. The 1st side dungeon in "The Withering Weald" can spawn either but it's a 1/5 chance.
Did this, got the Chimney Dungeon so it's not only those 2
i think there are 5 total dungeons it can roll from including lament & cathedral. 1/5 chance every 3 minutes
Ive tried your way for many times checking on both doors but no luck on getting cathedral of omens nor the lament. any advise or trick ?
I think it's like a 1/5 chance of it being the one you want. When I was doing it, it took me around 20 re-rolls.
Sooo ive tried rerolling atleast 30 times now and everytime i get the right map i still can't find it. somehow its still different from yours and i have no idea whats wrong lol. are there any requirements such as things you need to have completed first?
You're starting at "The Red Throne" and not getting "The Withering Weald" as your 1st area?
@@kawffee69 ehm i did, came a step further now cause i found the cath of omens. But i dont need that one right? I want the lament. So if i just found cath of omens do i need to reroll or can i find lament here too?
@@d.b2271 I think dungeon spawns are rng, so you may still be able to find it further along in Yaesha or you could reroll if you think that'd be faster. If you're on PC try googling "world analyzer" for remnant 2. I think it lets you analyze your save file to see what you have/don't have.
I’ve rerolled mine multiple times to the red throne on adventure mode and i still haven’t came across it is there a certain quest you need to do or?
Not that I'm aware of. Just keep rerolling Red Throne. The side dungeon in the 1st open area has a 1/5 chance to be The Lament.
Yeah, I’m in the same boat. I’ve been re-rolling it for the past 4 hours and I haven’t gotten either the Omen or the Lament dungeons. Instead I keep being sent to Forgotten Fields or the Imperial Garden, not sure if I’m doing something wrong or not
@@PraiseTheGreatVoid You could try joining randoms that are in the dungeon you're looking for. May not always get a fresh start but it could be a faster/easier way to get the loot you're looking for.

Bit harder for me to find lament as I have to reroll campaign to get Morrow parish so that I get the nightweavers web as I need to use the quest item from lament to make my last losomn item to have 100% of everything from losomn
That will be a bit painful to do
@@kawffee69 I’ve done it for the nerud item now doing it for yaesha XD the nerud one required it twice as you need the non prison start to get the “override pin” then take that to nughtweavers web to get the tormented heart take the tormented heart to nimue to make the tranquil heart reroll again to try and get tormented heart…. Took me about 15 rolls yesterday
Probably a better idea to roll yaesha to start, you can quickly run to the dungeon and if you get it then go to losom second as it’s a 50/50 chance of nightweaver. I’m doing the same and feel like that’ll save a lot of time. The lament is like a 25% chance so I’d prefer to catch it early

does the layout have to look exactly as your run does to get the correct spawn?
it should have the same map name but it could look a bit different

So I ran straight and the crystal was to the to the first crystal but after when he said keep right theres a wooden platform with a house structure on it so I re roll
as long as u start at red throne. the first optional dungeon (side dungeon) had a 1/5 chance to be the lament or cathedral. reroll after checking the first side dungeon regardless of map layout. if the side dungeon inside what u were looking for then re roll
How do you open the door behind the root nexus.
It's a shortcut door that you can unlock from the other side once you come out of the main objective dungeon.
Is forgotten field a dungeon? got it basically every time

So if you get Root Nexus you need to also reroll untill you get the Blue tree?
No need to reroll. It doesn't matter what layout you get (blue tree or red tree). The 1st side dungeon in The Withering Weald (red throne start) has a 1/5 chance of being The Lament or Catherdal. If the first side dungeon isn't what u were looking for then reroll.
Try rerolling adv mode until you get forbidden grove, run for it, it always have 2 doors( one for main objective, which is not), and the other, if its not cath, reroll it. Some guy tried like 50 times and get the cath lol 😂
I'm trying to get lament but I keep being Omen place over and over... and while others are struggling to get it lol

The withering weald on my map looks different. Any idea why?
Did you go from the Red Throne?
Yes. To make sure I did it twice. When I enter there's a bridge there and the stone is much closer.
@@Remy2947 I think it should still be fine. As long as it's withering weald from the red throne the first optional dungeon should have a 1/5 chance to be the lament.

Can you explain what "The Lament" has to do with "Cathedral of Omens"? I rolled a Yaesha world starting at Red Throne & had Lament as my first optional dungeon. What does that have to do with Cathedral of Omens (which I want to find & is the whole reason I'm here).
the optional dungeon in that area can either spawn as the lament or cathedral. it's a 1/5 chance. you can keep rerolling until the optional dungeon spawns cathedral

How come yours say “ the withering Weald 13” and mine says 6?
that's the level of the zone ur in. it's usually character level +1

i did many rerolls by The Red Throne 20... i never number 13. i need to The Lament!
The map number is the world level. It doesn't matter for rerolling.

@@kawffee69you can only get one dungeon? So if I got omens. Then I’m screwed I have go to keep re rolling until I get a certain place? Because now I won’t be able to earn certain things, I just wanted to play through the whole campaign and be able to get everything without re rolling
@@Woahbo you have to re-roll in order to get everything. it's impossible to get every item in one playthrough. For each world, you'll have multiple dungeons further along the world. so in the world where you got omens, you should still have 2-3 more side dungeons later on.

I've done this now now fewer than 50 times and no Lament.

no need to clear the whole map. the 1st side dungeon in weathering weald (red throne start) has a 1/5 chance to be the lament
Lament won’t spawn at all…
its random. i think its a 1/5 chance. took me roughly 20 attempts to spawn it. this was when the game released. not sure if spawns were adjusted

@@LuhSlide if that door is closed then look around the area for a side dungeon. i believe ur 1st side dungeon in the weathering weald has about a 1/5 chance to be the lament. took me around 20+ attempts because rng is whack

@@chrisallen8073 when u reroll adventure mode it removes the world u have on it and replaces it with a new instance. don't reroll campaign, reroll in adventure mode

@@chrisallen8073 i think its available as soon as u have a world/beat a world in campaign. u can only pick worlds u have completed /have access to in campaign. when u interact with the crystal in ward 13, u can switch between campaign and adventure mode.

@@tjgoku-9326 I feel you. are you on PC? if you are then search up "remnant 2 world analyser" and it should let you view your save file to see if a specific dungeon is there or not. there should be guides on youtube for it.
Forbidden grove works better since its already a dungeon in the world
