- Universal Studios Florida, a part of Universal Orlando Resort, has some of the best rides in the world. However, they also have some of the worst rides in Universal Orlando along with a few that just are not worth waiting for. Here are 5 rides that you should not wait a long time for if you go to Universal Studios in Orlando.

Transformers is one of my favorite rides at Universal Orlando. We never skip it. We've also never had to wait more than 15 minutes to ride.
That's all great to hear. I was more saying if there is a long wait, I consider it one worth skipping. I know it has a lot of fans compared to the others on the list, though
I personally wouldn't skip Transformers or Minion Mayhem. Sure, they might be cloned rides, but you have to ask yourself how likely you are to visit another Universal that has those rides, and how long will it be until you make that visit. So for those reasons, it's better to do them now while you can.
I’ll give you Transformers on that one for sure since it is at least still a solid ride. I don’t know if Minion Mayhem is quite as worthwhile.

I’m glad you think so. It’s pretty fun, but not one I would personally wait in a long line for.
What I would rather do is spend a whole day at Universal's Islands of Adventure instead of those passable rides at Universal Studios Orlando.

I skipped everything expect Spider-Man, Kong, the kids coaster and the cat and the hat monorail. Everything else was about a 3-4 hour wait

I think you're over exaggerating, even if you visit during the holidays the only ones that goes past 3 hours would most likely be Hagrid's or Velocicoaster, everything else is so much shorter and the fact that you did Kong and Hippogriff which gets long waits consistently.
You are 100% correct about Transformers. I like that ride less than you. Just gave me a headache. Spider man is quite good. I thought Jimmy Fallon was one of the better rides in the universal park. The ride you missed is Rip Ride Rockit which is a horrible roller coaster with terrible pacing, multiple break runs, and is rough and not in a good way. I like to refer it as Manhattan Express with music. Just a bad ride. Overall islands of adventure is so much better than universal. The good rides at universal are average at islands of adventure.
The tough thing with Rip Ride Rockit is that it's the one big thrilling roller coaster in the park, and I doubt any thrill seeker would be willing to miss that, even if they heard bad things.
I'm visiting this park for the first time this summer. One of my home parks is Universal Studios Hollywood, so I think skipping all the cloned motion simulators might be the gameplan.

I mean I live in Singapore. Transformers is my favourite and the highlight of the day (ye prefer this over battlestar) ig florida is a park wjth more competition and the fact i love transformers
Those are probably both factors that influence that.
I guess I can see why Transformers is kinda a headache.
Tell Universal Orlando to close F&F Supercharged and replace it with a Sonic the Hedgehog coaster.

You know all of this is truly accurate, but During the day you go, even on a busy day, honestly you never know, most of the time the wait times doesn't really take that long, sometimes it does, it really depends on the timing most likely with most of the rides, especially our most amazing attractions, but honestly the one thing I will say for everyone to skip if Fatf because it really is bad

I guess the alternative would be go to an OI Meetup and get it all lol

JIMMY IS NOT EVEN A LONG WAIT WHATTTTTT and it’s a super fun ride as well as the minions and transformers what are you talking literally all the rides
None of the rides are awful, I just find that they are the lowest priorities when I go to Universal Studios. Jimmy had the longest wait in the park behind Gringotts last time I went.
I prefer Despicable Me minion mayhem over Jimmy Fallon tho especially when it has the 3D glasses. Jimmy Fallon is just stupidly themed even tho the simulator is kinda cool.

Jimmy Fallon is usually always a short wait and I think he’s cute. I’d only skip minions and fast and furious-those are terrible. Love transformers and the single rider line is a nice option!

Solid skip list. Jimmy Fallon's ride is the worst; there is no reason why it should exist in the 2020s

Just got back from universal and I completely agree , i waited 30 mins for the fast and furious ride and it was soooo boring, waste of time!

What??? Transformers was and is amazing! This is NOT TRUE! DO NOT SKIP IT! Especially if you love old school transformers you'll love it. Maybe not for younger SUPER NERDS!😅😅 but it's great for most of us

That’s fair. I really like The Simpsons Ride so I personally wouldn’t recommend people skip it unless they have low tolerance for motion sickness.
fast ride is beyond AWFUL I went it on @ Horror nights and a was the only person on it !

I don't like Minion Mayhem in Hollywood. I was really excited for it as I love Intamin and I had high hopes since Mayhem was an Intamin, as well. However, the ride's system was really underwhelming and It basically just felt like I watching a movie. If it had the Motion Tower system from Intamin it would be better imo.
As for Fast and Furious: Supercharged (the one in Hollywood) It was decent, I just didn't like the cussing. There definitely could be a better Fast and Furious ride in Hollywood though:).... I think Animal Actors and Special Effects would like to have a word about that:) And a better Intamin as well.... Animal Actors and Special Effects would also like to have a word about that:)

I’d heard such good things about Transformers, but I didn’t have a good time. I don’t know if I wasn’t properly secured into my seat, but I was in the back row and was being slammed into the side of the car with such force that I thought I was going to have a bruise the next day. I wish I was exaggerating. I get it was simulating a combat mission, but it wasn’t a pleasant experience at all.

For the amount of money you will spend on admission alone, There is no reason to not get the most out of it and skip out on anything. Sure a lot of the rides aren't for everyone however you paid the money just enjoy it to the fullest.
