The original video they responded to now has 1.3 million views which I can't even believe myself. Some of them were polite, and some like Asadullah were downright condescending and even made fun of my voice/accent. I just ignored his foolishness though.
I'm proud to say that even after 4 years I still stand by my original arguments I made in that video and wouldn't change a thing. Maybe I would clarify or emphasize a couple of points, but really I am happy with what I said. This is really the first serious rebuttal I've received so far. I think early on I was too small so they just ignored me and hoped nobody would watch my content or I would just drop out, but that didn't happen. This channel is getting noticed. Let's keep hitting them where they feel it the most. Thank you for your support!
    Yours
    Abdullah Sameer

It's very important we do our best to help create a positive, healthy & friendly dialogue that avoids making our discussions personal. All sides have been guilty of adding unnecessary needle and ad hominem. Ex-Muslims and Muslims often attack the individual rather than stick to the topic. I realise it's human nature because our egos can make us react badly, particularly when it relates to sensitive subjects like religion, but we must try to control our egos and be as humble as possible and not react to unkind remarks or personal insinuations. Always try to show empathy and understanding and strenuously avoid any temptation to add unnecessary needle.

Perhaps it's because I'm a Christian and tend to watch videos produced by Christians, ex-Muslims, or atheists, but my experience has been that Muslims resort to name-calling, ad hominem attacks, and vulgarity far more often than their Christian/ex-Muslim/atheist counterparts. Islam has hadiths that call for vulgar and insulting attacks against those who insult or blaspheme Muhammad, but Christianity does not endorse such behavior. Perhaps this could be a good area for a study of debate techniques among religious apologists.

How is the trinity even remotely related to the idea that there may be people living under the radar of modern civilization? Take for instance the North Sentinel islands, they have never contacted modern humans. You must have not watched the entire podcast by the muslims responding. There are many explanations and possibilities about yagog and magog's existence such as the fact that they may be a small population while hiding and could exponentially grow in number when they escape. Another explanation is that they are numerous in terms of the population at the time of their release. I have no idea where you got the idea that there are 99 billion behind a wall, that is definitely the reality of the situation. There are many many different interpretations about this issue and you can choose yourself what you want to believe about it. I don't see how this is an issue...

I for one think that if the Koran spoke of them, or something equally unlikely to be known of, it would have prevented a great many people from leaving Islam and roasting in hell forever who otherwise would have left. However, I'm sure it would have helped a huge number of those many people who desperately wanted Islam to be true, but the lack of evidence left them feeling compelled to leave. Another thing in answer to your question is this; I've seen a huge number of Muslims giddy with excitement about the amazing proof their religion is true and this so called evidence was much much shoddier that the example I gave. But the thing is abiut your answer to Stopscammingman:
Let's say for examples sake that if you were wrong abiut islam, and it actually wasnt from God or not the best source and would not help you........would you even want to know? Would you have faith that Truth is always good no matter what it turns out to be, and you could find something better?
I think the very basis of the claims of islam are very flawed, and this is an example, which other things claiming to be God's Truth don't have.
Lets compare with some other source that *_also_* claims to have discovered God's Truth &/or even teach people how to discover it for themselves:
www.divinetruth.com & related RUclips Channels, inc an FAQ.
Now you may think it is bullshit because it conflicts with the claims of Mohammed & the claims of the book you believe is from God. Fair enough, that's what anyone in your postion would say. I even did, but i wasnt a Muslim (although I did consider islam when seeking for Truth).
BUT BUT BUT this Divine Truth DOES meet exactly the criteria that Stopsacmmingman brings up, which the Mo & the qur'an do not:
God would definately predict that people would question the validity of the voice Mo claimed he had in his head, which claimed to be from God, and the book that was written after his death based on this belief.
      There are many competing claims.
God would obviously realize that anyone seeking truth would *_put different claims to the test._*
Divine Truth does actually give a LOT of factual and useful info that - if it turns out to be true when put to the test - that would show it it true or false.
And there is much more criteria that it meets, that religions that originate as voices in people's heads (such as islam) do not.

So I put to you that it is actually a fair and reasonble argument.
I don't think it is the central reasons why I'm personally quite sure that islam is a waste of time IF someone is seeking truth about life or God, but it is still one.
I've wasted a lot of time in my life, and I can relate to the painful recognition of that.
Btw - we are not necessarily seeking the same thing.
If you get what you want in islam, I'm not going to change you.

And the question is not about waiting for angels. It was back then and is today: "Mohammed, how do I know we can trust you, or trust the voice in your head?
Because that was the source of islam.
Or "Why would I have faith in some soure claiming to be God's Truth, how would it benefit humans and how would I put it to the test?"
That is for anything claiming to be God's Truth, including the ones you didn't know about. Islam does not meet them, but other sources do.
In science this is called a theory being "falsifiable".

I've seen multiple other communities which basically functioned like that and that definitely raised more red than green flags, if any.

Abdullah Sameer - Ibn Warraq, also a former Muslim, and an author of 19 books, wrote his first book, Why I Am Not a Muslim, sourcing from his comprehensively extensive knowledge of Islamic history. A compelling, fascinating read, one learns of two streams of Islam, both from two stages of Muhammad's life, in early Mecca, and later Medina. Both Muslim and non-Muslim scholars agree, that this created two Qu'rans. The Mecca Qu'ran and the later, abrogated Qu'ran, the Medina Qu'ran. Learning this clarified the perplexing statements of the two opposing streams, claiming to be following the prophet. As a Yehudi Torah kabbalist grandmother, I deeply appreciste your courage, and unfliching stand for the truth. Blessings..
