This is awesome. Right now you can get both front and rear diff gears from Vitavon and still be under the regular price of the Vigilante. I really love Redcat and Vitavon. I've not had a gear issue in mine since putting the gears in it months ago. Anyone on the fence, now if the time to pull the trigger on a Vigilante.
That was some fancy wall riding bro!! RC Guy garage needs those Vitavon gears… he keeps having issues. I went all Vitavon on my TLR Typhon. They just work bette, smoother and the don’t break.
Oh man I just realized you didn’t get sent the new vanquish truck! I really wanted to see your review and run video. Who in the heck is choosing their names?!?!! Fordyce? That needed a Google search first. And Optic? They realize this is supposed to be an off-road buggy not a camera lens right? Weird. I still bought one up though. Some super beef you put in that redcat there.
Right! Exo caged is may fav rc content creator. He has tons of subs and the best track for testing. He has positive things to say about a lot of things. The fact that he didn’t get one kinda pissed me off. I know they only had a set of cars to send out … but daym. I did like that tomely rc got one, but he doesn’t do great crawler reviews. He did do a decent review but I value Exo cages opinion the most!!
Jealous over hear. Just did the fluid in all my diffs, new motor, new esc, upgraded servo, Vitavon steering rack comes tomorrow, but my ring and pinions don’t come until next week, and I’m going for a rip this weekend. I’m expecting carnage.
I really hope they come out with an aluminum center diff case, the heating issues and gear crunching are throwing me off, at least what rcguy garage had. That was unacceptable. A metal center diff could fix that
Have you saw our heard of anyone besides him having that issue?I kinda wonder if his is a fluke. Mine has been a solid rig so far. The real test will be when Vitavon or somebody makes a motor mount that'll let us put a big motor in and gear it to the moon.
Viticon just got some of my $ on the 1.5 gears for xmaxx. I destroyed 3 mod 1 pinions last summer. Belted tires + and a bigger motor is apparently too much 😂
do you know who makes the strongest gears for the tx4 platform? my trx6 blows out the center diff gears practically every time it does a wheel stand under power
Man, I know that Vitavon makes nice stuff, but #45 steel or equivalent 1045 steel is nothing special. Just a medium carbon level, no other real alloying element, non-tool steel, that can reach low to mid levels of hardness. For what he charges for his stuff, the gears should be made from a good high alloy/ high carbon steel.
Why do we have to go to after market parts when they should have been included in the truck. It's a shame the stock diffs self distruct like that. They need to make a metal center diff case that won't over heat!
It's unfortunately fairly common in the industry. Traxxas, HPI, Losi have all been guilty of it in the past from my experience. A truck this big should have all metal diff cases, and the crown and pinion at the very least should be machined steel.
Nice to Vitavon making some quality parts for this rig.
The vitalante build begins! Looking forward to the finished product
Those parts look super smooth👍
man you make this rig look fun af, the wall ride tho.. awesome!!

I FOMO'd and bought a vigilante, rip my wallet lol

@@John-shredsyeah…odd Tomley got a Optic right and he doesn’t do vanquish stuff hardly at all….plus he’s in the UK where vanquish isn’t that popular

Gotta love the exoplex!!

I really figured those beefy gears would have been a lot tougher
I don’t have a vigilante but I’m happy for that
Awesome go vitavon are they going to make a spur gear also ?
👍👍😁
👍😁😎✌️
Any word on the center diff ?
wow😮😮😮😮 มันเป็นรถขนาด 1:5 ที่ว่องไวและมีแขนที่แข็งแรงและราคาสมเหตุสมผล🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
do you know who makes the strongest gears for the tx4 platform? my trx6 blows out the center diff gears practically every time it does a wheel stand under power
Nice what size pinion?
do the Vitavon diff gears give more top end (taller diff gears) or better take off (shorter gears) ? cheers
That was epic!!!
👍😁🤪
Well, that was over the top.😅

That's a lot of grease?
