Candy Dulfer is one THE funkiest saxwomen I've heard. I was in Scandanavia years ago when "lily was here" was playing on the charts, and was very impressed. Her "funkability" has only grown since that time. Nice perfomance here.

Awsome feel and rhythm by the band. Roger Happel is a real crooner and has some wonderful curves and tone to his voice. Nonetheless, if they tried to be themselves more rather than trying to sing "black" then I think this rendition of this motown classic would of sounded even better. Cany Dulfer is a soul diva and has the talent ability and "soulful struttin" to live with the very best. As for the female vocalist she kills this song
This is one killer cover of Marvin Gay's classic. I got a new set of Dr. Dre Beats for Christmas and am really enjoying listening to some of my favs! Roger puts Marvin to shame!

I've listened to Candy for years and I'm embarrassed to admit that it wasn't until about 5 years ago that I heard you and Ulco and I've been a huge fan ever since. I grew up in Detroit in the 60s and between the jazz, R&B and Motown I heard the best musicians and vocalists of all time. The Funk Brothers alone were a plethora of showcase talent. But I love the texture of your voice and when I turn my friends on to you they're quick to make the Daryl Hall reference but not for long because besides range, you got that soulful grit. And UIlco can play the shit out of his ax. I've been playing the sax for over 40 years and seen most of the greats in concert but unfortunately not you guys. But now that I'm retired I'm coming to Amsterdam to make that happen. Thanks for all the great music that inspires me to keep playing!
