I had a vision of my hooks floating and I tried and tried to make it a reality. I’ve finally figured it out! So excited to share this with with fishing community!

my uncle was a big tarpon fisherman. yes tarpon eat catfish.n he used to skin them, dehead them and let them sit in salt over night.

he used to tell me how tarpon are trash eaters and how he would use filleted snapper carcasses to catch them too in the big inlets @@staugustinesandmanfishing
I live right beside The 312 bridge and I would love meet up to do some surf fishing sometime! But I have a question about your new rig, since the fish usually hit the attractor (floats) technically by rights in a perfect situation you really don’t have to use any bait because the float acts as a bait kinda and is already on the hook, I would like to see a comparison between two of the same rigs one with and one without bait and see if there is a significant difference in hookups
Interesting thought! The actual bait is definitely the scent for sure to draw them closer. If you see me out there ever please come by and say hi! Or come to a music gig and we can talk fishin on my breaks.
