I've got these tools and they work fine, however, the demount tool probably helped me figure out how to use the other tools more than anything else, doesn't always bring the bead all the way off and 2 used together want to twist unless the sidewall is thick. It did well on a BOBCAT.
Tech on the left is mentally challenged or something. He is acting like he don't want standard tools to work. New tools has been tested by pros and as always failed to perform. Not only these tool but many design of gold tool crap. Standard ken tools are the best solution ever found so far.
I bought these in 2007 for my 225 70 19.5 14 ply for my gm c4500 and have not used them since. I have struggled with regular irons. I am looking at them again. I have put bolt inserts in the ground for my tire stand which I use for other tires, not the 19.5. Maybe I will try using the bolt holes to hold the rim down while using the serpent set. That was part of the problem. The rim would not just stay down like they show in the video. I am not sure how flimsy those tires they are using are, but my tires are much stiffer than that. They try to make it look easy.
I think the other problem is that the tire iron would slide sideways or flip over when you had it extended and were trying to pull down. It is just a narrow piece of metal.
Dear Masterfleetsuply: I personally have demounted many different brands of tires on steel wheels with nary a problem, both 22.5 and 24.5 diameters. I would be happy to walk you through the process to help you with your tires. Please contact us at sales@kentool.com and mention this video. Thanks. -RT
They do this all over. Many larger tire shops just do these kinds of tires manually rather than using machines for larger tires which is a whole different animal. I do not think many machines are made for larger tires anyway.
these tools simply do not work as demonstrated in the video. guarantee those tires have had their beads shaved down and an obscene amount of grease applied

I'm more interested in how the tool handles tires with the crown torn off (sidewalls only) as well
as super singles.
You dont need a bar to put on the first bead. In the video he stops pushing..if he would have kept pushing the tire would have dropped in !

Will this work with 19.5s?

19.5 hell no. I have these tools. Works great but not on 19.5s.
I dont think OSHA would agree that the technician should be standing on the while prying the tire on..very unsafe !
