    My knotless got really frizzy quickly and I wanted to turn them into locs so I dont feel as if I wasted my money if I took them down. Im so glad I found this vid. Very informative fr!!     I’m going to try this on my old knotless I did myself. Ty for this tutorial. 💜💜 I always did the crochet method.
    Update: I tried it!!! Annnnnddddd they were heavy 🙄 I ended up cutting them to my shoulders

    Looks super easy, so all you are doing is wrapping it around? No glue or anything? My hair is butt length so I’m trying to figure out how many packs & inches I may need

      It really is that simple loll. It just takes patience. I used about 3 packs... for butt length, maybe 5 packs? 🤷🏾‍♀️

      I didn’t purchase the spring twist hair on Amazon, I bought them a while ago from QueenLounges.com.

      After cutting the locs in half, I literally just pulled down (gently loll) at the roots and the hair slipped down the braid. After that just un-braid the rest.

    What would I do if I wanted to make the locs longer than what the braid is ??? Love your vid btw❤️

      To make them longer, you'll first need to make your braids longer. You can add more hair to your braids making them the ideal length then go about wrapping each braid the same way shown in the video. I hope this helps!

      Yes. Only two strands of Spring Twist hair (fluffed out) was used to wrap each braid.

    I love thisssssss. I have less hair on my box braids so do you recommend using less?

      Yes. If your braids are smaller, less hair is needed to wrap it all the way through. I used two pieces of Spring Twist hair for each braid, you can probably get away with using one piece and splitting it in half to make two pieces.

    I’ve seen people do these with knotless, but do they work with box braids? I got mine done a few weeks ago but i don’t want to take them out once they get fuzzy but i want to get my money’s worth! Thank you 😊

      Honestly, I haven’t done traditional box braids on my hair in yearsss however as long as you don’t mind the knot at the roots then it should work perfectly fine.

      Good question... I haven’t tried it. I don’t see a reason for it not to work aside from the roots being a bit bulky.

      Not at all. They lasted me about 2 months before I took them out.

      They can get matted if you wet them a lot or manipulate them too much so I suggest that you don’t.
