After so many times of trying she made it!! So happy for her!! And with the best song she ever sang!!! Incredible Claudia!!! All the best to Eurovision!!!
We would be insane to send a song in Maltese (A language which literally no one outside of Malta is familiar with) to Eurovision and expect to win. Kewkba sounds like a lullaby which WOULD NOT have wowed enough people to make it past at most 15th place (But probably we would have gotten a worse result)
Last years' song won cause it was about the Russians oppressing the Crimean Tartars and people have been pissed off at Russia and used Ukraines' song as a way to take a stab at Russia
Sorry, but Claudia isn't even qualifying with her dull ballad. Kewkba had special qualities that made it stood out, including the language. But, enjoy playing it safe and missing out on Saturday night.
Impressive voice and a very good entry Malta :) Hope you will reach the final and will make a good position. Malta is a beautiful country with such nice people Best wishes from your friends in Germany
I'm really happy for Claudia, even though I wanted Janice to win. Anyway I'm happy they didn't choose Brooke - she would have been my last place so far
Janice should have won but I am also glad for Claudia as she has tried it several times. Her song is good, one of the best from this pre-selection, but my favourite song was Kewkba.
il prezentatuturi qalghuli l-istonku. Ghazlu lingwa jekk joghgobkom- jew Malti jew ingliz u ma rridx narakhom darbohra fuq il palk jekk ma tiehdux tahrig fuq kif titkellmu sew fil pubbliku...x'faqar...possibli mghandna lil hadd ahjar???
Ovvjament how bloody stupid!! Ovvjament if ever the Maltese, ovvjament learn to ovvjament flippin VOTE!! Malta would have had the best chance ever to win this competition BY a clear MILE with Janice Mangion's song - Kawkba. Ovvjament well done for the choice of ''host'' for this year......OVVJAMENT!

Bombshell would probably be the best choice as so far that song is the most diverse of the majority of entries from other countries this year (which are mostly ballads) and also it would appeal to younger people and may have had the effect that Lena had with Satellite which became one of Eurovions most famous songs world wide because of its trendiness
I'm so happy for her. After many years of trying to represent Malta at ESC, finally she can. Well done to her!
I cried when I saw Claudia 's reaction!! she finally made it! Good luck to her!!

After so many times of trying she made it!! So happy for her!! And with the best song she ever sang!!! Incredible Claudia!!! All the best to Eurovision!!!
After 30 years of Malta trying to win Eurovision we will fail again! Yey! -_-
This is a very historical moment 💙
A historical moment would have been selecting Kewkba. Obviously Malta doesn't like it's language very much.
We would be insane to send a song in Maltese (A language which literally no one outside of Malta is familiar with) to Eurovision and expect to win. Kewkba sounds like a lullaby which WOULD NOT have wowed enough people to make it past at most 15th place (But probably we would have gotten a worse result)
but last year's winner of the eurovision was in their language who understood it? but yet it won
Last years' song won cause it was about the Russians oppressing the Crimean Tartars and people have been pissed off at Russia and used Ukraines' song as a way to take a stab at Russia

I wanted Kevin or Franklin
Hopefully they will change the song for a better one like they did last year.
They better but i doubt it after the controversy it caused last year
yes i think so
Breathlessly is great, just doesn't fit her voice. So no changing pls.
RandomGamer 77 it Wont Change This Year

hammiema let down!! that comment was so way out of her position!!!
I want Kevin win Claudia song is the worst
Diska tan nejk u tal qamel
Kevin with that song?! Maybe in the past but today not a chance would he survive the semi finals in Eurovision
RandomGamer 77 and how can you tell are you something to say that
kewkba was better
Bad decision for Malta. I would vote for Kewkba or Bombshell or Fearless or Seconds away
Bombshell would probably be the best choice as so far that song is the most diverse of the majority of entries from other countries this year (which are mostly ballads) and also it would appeal to younger people and may have had the effect that Lena had with Satellite which became one of Eurovions most famous songs world wide because of its trendiness
