Hi Teacher Mike,
Your video was amazing and super clear.
In daily conversations we often hear people using the first conditional in the if-clause but using "would" instead of "will" in the main clause.
E.g. :
- If it rains, we would stay at home.
- If you work hard, you would get promoted.
Would you mind explaining to me what implicit nuances the speaker has in mind by using this kind of mixed conditional ?
I'd highly appreciate your help.

That is a very possible/real situation, so you should not use the second conditional.
You should say "If I study English, I will be able to get a new job."
If l won money, l would study English.
If I had a lot mony, I would buy a Ferrari.
