Dubai International Airport may not be one of the best in terms of facilities. Sleep and Fly is nice though.
Did you need a transit visa?
Hello. For me, a transit visa was exempted. What feel is that DXB may set different requirements for each country.
But why didn’t you get hotel ?? Wasn’t it the best connection on that day ?
Yeah, it's a good point. The issue is that you'll have only 5 hours for a hotel (1h clear immigration + 2h re-check-in to enter DXB)...

Free seats are limited in the T3 of DXB. Recliner chairs along moving escalators only.
Why did you have to wait 8hours?
Long layover because of odd timing taking a connection flight🙃🙃
