This is fantastic -- the meathead philosopher: articulate, thoughtful, tough, ex-con, reflective, intelligent. I'm definitely bought in.

Great interview, great guy. That t-shirt though. I follow him on Instagram and I encourage everyone else to do so, not just for his training philosophy. An all round good man.

Swede is such an awesome dude. I love the 5th set methodology. Even in lockdown in the U.K, I only have a Olympic barbell, plates and adjustable dumbbells. I have no rack or bench, but I used the power clean as my heavy bench day, front squat ( cleaned the weight to front rack position) this was my technique lower body day, the power snatch was my technique upper body day, and deadlift was my heavy lower body day. I used the whole methodology of 5th set in lockdown and I realised that this system can be used for any athlete. I have became stronger even though I have very little equipment. Respect to Swede, really love the methodology 💪

I met Swede at the Arnold in 2017 after the convention closed. He was a friend of a friend. At the time I had nothing to say cause I had no idea who the hell he was. I wish I knew then what I knew now. I would have had so many more questions. Really regret missing that opportunity.
