Dee, you’re very hard working, talented and very eloquent. When you’re in the city, you demonstrate the skills of a typical city girl, and when you’re back in your village, you also demonstrate the skills of a village girl. You’re very versatile. Your future husband will be very blessed to have a beautiful, educated, hardworking woman like you with so many skills and someone who can easily adapt to many environment. Very proud of you. May God continue to bless you and your beautiful family.
@@DeeMwango I'm glad you all wore gumboots to the Shamba! There is a different way of planting potatoes. We used to make countless heaps of soil next to each other. Then the potatoe leaves were inserted in the ground atop the heaps. It took 3 months to harvest. And the yield is phenomenal. This was in Jina back then. I would be surprised if they changed the method since its been close to 40 years since I left.
Cooking on a open fire. Taste -ten times better than a reg stove.I love the way You show how blessed Africans are. Glad I found your channel. God bless always
Ohhh, i am a city girl but i always want to live simple life in village like that and also need planting fruit and veg. For my own use and for sell. I am jealous of guys. You did a great content Dee.
Hey Dee, that was a very informative video on how to dig and clean sweet potatoes. Very good job on that video. Also, I like the way you guys welcome Bo into your African culture. Bo has completely embraced the culture and is willing to learn as much as she can, and she looks quite comfortable with the culture. That says a lot about Bo! She really wants to be part of the family!

In The Gambia, we have a lots of MUSHROOM types but we never Eat them because they are poison. But at the same time some varieties might not be poison but in the Gambia we never try to see which ones are poison and those which are not. In Sweden where i stay now, there are a lot of MUSHROOMS of different variety and they Eat all of them and i Eat them too, they are very nice in taste. I want to know how MUSHROOMS in Kenya are prepared in food to be eaten? Thanks.
I love everything about you and your vedios...i get to see what life is like on the other side of the globe and am enjoying every minute of it...very informative am so happy i sign on to your channel as well ...its a close net family and am loving the vibes🙏
Village life looks fun and very educating , the average American does not know how to farm and raise livestock but my father and mother does, but they never taught me the way. Most of us Americans are spoiled with everything in the grasp of our hands, and I'm one of them, I would have loved for my father or mother to teach me how to farm. Now we would like you to milk the cows and goats, and cook them, and also catch fish and cook them PLEASE !!!!!! Thank you for your videos !!!!!!
awww....all are organics, no chemical process,i love the cooking method also ,Dee Marwa and Bo ,keep trilling us ,i really enjoy all the episode ... Regards to Mum

In my county Haiti, we also have mushrooms but we boil it and take the black water to cook our black rice. It is the absolute best rice. Try it the next time you go to a Haitian restaurant.

Good upload. Love seeing the natural side of the world away from the cities. It's full of life and adventure. I used to do that type of digging, pruning, weeding in highschool. That soil looks very fertile, good for agriculture.
She explains the process so clearly;
Yeah

The skin of the Sweet Potato is nutritious so I don't peel the skin but wash and scrub it clean.
I am amazed how you guys don’t damage the sweet potatoes while digging. You truly are experts. Many blessings to you and your family 🥰.
