Very nice review! That's a great performing battery powered saw! I'm gonna buy one for myself.
It’s a fantastic saw. I got one from Home Depot. For most homeowners it’s perfect. Cuts like crazy. I just got the leaf blower with the e-force 56 v battery. Same battery. For $199 at home depot again u get the blower battery and another charger. It’s a great blower and will wear u out before the battery drains. Now I have two batteries to use in either device. Great system. The battery alone is around $190 or so, so get the blower for free and the charger. Great discount when u get the bundle. Cheers.
Awesome! I really like the saw may be my favorite of the battery saws!
Hey thanks for your chainsaw reviews. I've got it narrowed down to either the Echo DCS-5000 or the Ego 18" saw (CS1800, I think). Felling small trees (up to 14" diameter) and bucking mostly. Any thoughts? I only ask because I haven't seen any direct comparisons between the two anywhere, despite their being in the same market space and price range. Thank you for you time and work!
I haven’t tried the ego in the 18” but based on the performance of the ego 20” I would say the 18 would be very good, but I also really like the Echo DCS-5000, I would say either saw you would be very happy with, if you have one of the battery platforms already like the ego brand I would go with it cause you would have more batteries, if not like I say I think it would be close competition
Nice to know, thanks

These reviews are excellent. I love my dewalt 60v saw and it rules!
I do believe you’re correct. The 3/8lp chain seems to cut quicker with a smaller kerf, my coworker has a stihl ms201tc with the same 3/8 chain, and it seems to work better than that other smaller safety chain
Yeah I have the new dewalt 60v 20” chainsaw on preorder, I’ve always been a big dewalt fan so I’m excited to get it,
@@WilliamsonRidge if its anything like their 16” offering, i suspect that it will surprise you a lot. A ton of power!
Thank you for your videos!
I would love a comparison between the new DeWalt and Echo chain Saws.
I have a AEG version of this and the batteries are POS. Had it for 2yrs now. The Chainsaw unit is fantastic extremely pleased with it but the batteries just don't last and are far too expensive to replace. If we can come up with a way with having a backpack and run a motorcycle battery with cables into it, that has heaps more staying power I will be in it. But otherwise going back to petrol.
Yeah the saw is great, if they can get the batteries lined out, be even better.
Hi, what does AEG version mean?
Hello. how long should the battery last?
@@jihazkomfort usage wise I get 2.5hrs a 6x4 trailer load out of 2 batteries about a 1 ton of wood. Thats cutting anything from 4in to 8in - if you constantly give it a hard time on thick items and not a sharp blade it will eat the power. Life expectancy unsure 3yrs now of constant use between Lawn Mower and chainsaw and they are holding up just fine. I have seen they have just released a new battery that is double the Amps but it is expensive.
I believe it is the AEG brand in maybe Australia?
Nice job!
Thanks!
es lohnt sich eine Stihl Hartmetallkette zu montieren! 50 Akkuladungen mit 1x schleifen
I’ve been thinking about trying one out.
I purchased this same chainsaw a couple weeks ago. My only complaint is it leaks oil when left sitting, unused. Wondering if you experienced this same issue.
I have 11 chainsaws and they all leak some, best to empty oil tank after use so the leakage is minimal
👍👍👍
How long to charge the battery?
Right about 2 hrs
You did a review on the atlas 80 V chainsaw in your opinion how does it compare with this one?
I like the Echo better overall, the atlas I have issues with the battery shutting off when using constantly, but it does feel like it has a bit more power.
how many amps are there?
It is a 5AH battery
