Do you care that Trump is probably delusional? He speaks better because he didn't memorize his answers. Biden memorized his answers and overprepared, so he sounded like a robot saying his lines. Trump is delusional. He says the 2020 election was stolen despite all of the federal, state, and local investigations that said it was good. He says millions of votes were illegal because he lost. Is he lying or does he experience a different perception of reality? Do you care about if Trump is delusional or not? It is not just memory, but do you live in reality? Trump does not live in the same reality, even some of his supporters wonder if he is lying or can't tell the truth from lies.
Doctor, that is the most helpful commentary I have heard since the Thursday debate. I think we all have to face the music and make some hard decisions in this situation.

That is really it, more than anything. In 2020, he barely campaigned and disappeared for long periods of time. When he did speak, it was clear something was wrong. I just saw an NBC segment tearing him to bits, and I thought, about NBC, "For years, you covered this up! You knew!"

Retired physician here (allergy/immunology). Thank you for speaking out. I only wish more doctors would offer their thoughts and opinions. I agree with your opinions. I don’t think his physician is portraying the whole story. His stiff gait is not due solely to osteoarthritis. This is a very sad and dangerous situation for everyone. I’m a firm believer in age limits for Presidents, Vice Presidents, Supreme Court justices and maybe even Congress. The American public and the world deserve leaders in their prime.
@@lindagreen8505 why so many RN’s here stating they are RNs, as if that gives them an advantage to “diagnose” Biden. As an RN myself, I know the complexities of diagnosing a person - complexities I have NOT been trained in. Communication disorders do not necessarily and automatically mean “dementia”. RNs need to stay within their own professional boundaries and stop trying to diagnose someone. There are numerous tests and scans that need to be completed - by doctors - before a diagnosis can be made, once again by doctors!

Retired RN here. I told friends during the last elections, he was showing symptoms of Dementia. I was ridiculed and told there was nothing wrong with him by his supporters.
The debate a few days ago proved my point.
I am not a nurse, nor in the medical field, and knew when he was campaigning for the last election that something was wrong, and got the same reaction from people. And we were right!
Experience is always the best teacher, retired RN. It is deplorable that anyone would ridicule your trained insights.
I am also a retired RN who worked in homecare and long-term care. I also warned family and friends 4 years ago that Biden had dementia. I knew it would only get worse with time. My biggest concern is who is really in charge and making all the decisions. It hasn't been Biden for the last four years. I think he was chosen because he could be easily controlled.
The dems are a cult.
I am not a nurse but even I could see that in 2019 he was slipping and it was related to aged cognitive decline. The pandemic was very useful for hiding Biden. And it always seemed suss to me that it took so long for Obama to endorse him. He was Obama'S VP for 8 years after all so why did it take so long ?
Biden's performance on debate night was not an isolated example. We've seen the decline for the last four or five years.

Having looked after my husband for 14 years with Parkinsons Disease and for the last 7 years with dementia, I see so many of my husbands symptoms. A stiff body affecting his ability to turn around, reduced blinking, lack of facial expression, shuffling gait and a soft voice. Depending on when he takes his medication his stage performance can greatly change so I am not surprised he seemed better the next day. To let him carry on like this to me, is elder abuse and very cruel.What is wrong with his wife??? He needs to retire now and enjoy what time he has left with his family and friends because there is only one way this is going and it isnt pretty.

I am a caregiver of two elderly parents. I see cognitive decline every day. Our country needs a new leader.
My Mom a retired nurse (as I am too) had dementia. Family fought me. Took away my durable POA for healthcare because I got her evaluated and her DR said she should NOT be doing her medications or my Dads. Shouldn't sign any legal papers. Should not make changes to estate or her living will. No driving. Needed supervision. Family in complete denial. Took my ability to care for my Mom as I promised. All cause I followed Drs advice. Some families know but then when you point it out we need to protect her you get accused of treating her as incapable of doing her own care. She was incapable.

I am a retired dementia nurse, and I consider what the people around him are doing, as elder abuse. On the other hand, I’m more concerned with the billions of people around the world, especially in America, and the effects of the Democratic Party’s for control. Retired RN here with long term, home health, acute, & hospice experience. Knowing & seeing s/s of cognitive deficits in 2020, and knowing these things follow a decline, whether slow or rapid, no surprises here. I also thought his raspy voice at the debate possibly side effects of stimulants due to drying of mucous membranes. When working in long term care, family members who would see Mom or Dad at Xmas, then Mothers Day, would be shocked at difference. “What happened to my mother? She was fine when I saw her 6 months ago!”
I totally agree with you Doctor. As a nurse, I have seen multiple hundreds of cases very similar to his in my practice working with veterans. No one, in recent days, has addressed his two brain surgeries and aneurysms as well as the blood clot (or possibly more clots) This, added to his advancing age and history of stammering makes it clear to me that everything you have said is spot on and most of what I myself have been thinking👏

As a layperson with experience with a loved one with dementia it's not surprising. The severity of the condition waxes and wanes.
@RubyRudi - Two things were different when he was addressing the rally the following day...
1. He was reading from autocue screens on either side of him
2. He was speaking loudly to an enthusiastic audience, and not in a 'closed' space where he habitually speaks softly and hoarsely, especially when under pressure
I worked personally for decades with the elderly, he needs 24 hour care.
He has it. We just don't see all of that. Just the "suit" pushed out for a few minutes in front of camera.
When you elect somebody in that state to lead you, it says a lot about your own cognitive level.
It should be no surprise as to why the world is in such a precarious state, it's in the hands of deranged, delusional, groupthink stricken, socialist-brainwashed populations.

I worked as a nurse in Geri-psych, dementia, Alzheimer’s units and he has all the classic signs of someone who has one or all of these issues.. the speech, behavior, and walking pattern gives it away.. whoever says he’s fine is a liar
Absolutely! I work with dementia clients also . His gait, his facial expression , his inability to focus are all signs of dementia. At the time of the debate, it seems like he was going through sundowning. The people who are around him need to show compassion .

my father had frontal temporal dementia so I am fully aware in regards to dementia. I have listened to interviews with Biden since the debate and he is articulate and intelligent. Many politicians have had bad debates and after listening to all the deranged rally speeches from Trump
I am just disgusted at the flack Biden received for one bad debate. He was totally thrown off guard with Trumps constant blatant lies. He has also had some very stressful issues in his life recently and is holding down very effectively a very full time stressful job. One bad debate does not maketh the man incompetent or demented. He is old - no doubt about it. He is not walking as sprightly either due to a fall resulting in a lower back injury. He has also had a speech impediment all his life and age affects the vocal cords. He needs to be judged on his work performance which has been pretty damn good. I am watching him from

Not making an excuse, but when I heard the "he had a cold" explanation, my immediate thought was, "Antihistamines". Antihistamines are commonly added to over the counter cold remedies, and/or taken separately. They are anticholenrgic drugs which can exacerbate (typically) pre existing, undiagnosed dementias. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter in the CNS, and in an elderly person anticholenrgic drugs can impair cognitive function.

I was a caregiver for a dementia patient for over ten years. The President has been showing the same behaviors over the past few years that I observed. There are good days and bad days, but a steady decline is inevitable. It's bizarre that so many people have their heads in the sand about this.

My husband had FTD, Frontal Temporal lobe Dementia. Actually, in hindsight 20 years ago he exhibited impulsiveness, unawareness of consequences of actions, anger that got worse towards the end. He did have isolated periods of lucidity that even fooled some people. Like Biden, in his last year or so he was falling, disoriented and physically stiff. My opinion based on personal experience is NATURE will make the decision whether Biden can run or not. I am just waiting for a full fledged collapse in front of the whole world. All the adrenaline or amphetamines pumped into such a person will not restore atrophied brain cells.

Most definitely, and as an RN, who worked in memory care for many years I started noticing signs in 2019, and even as early as 2020 when he did come out in public it was hard to tell, but he was very very aggressive and hateful during the debates. I thought both 2020debates were awful and I didn’t see anybody being a winner. The 2016 debates were really good and Hillary and Trump had a lot of chemistry when they were debating and Joe was so hostile and Trump was angry. The last debate Trump’s and just played it cool. Good!
Since Joe has been president, I don’t think he’s really really worked at all in this White House and everybody else has been doing his work for him including his wife and his secretary of state has pretty much been doing his job and the presidents job and they just hand Joe executive orders to sign and then he will make trips to the G7 and G 20 but he’s always wiped out when he goes. He’s not really fully in charge of what’s going on and unless he’s completely changed his political stance he’s not a progressive, but then the Clintons and Obama don’t say anything against a lot of what’s going on and if you don’t open up and condemn it, then you agree with it and you’re allowing it. His affect 24 hours after the debate was weird because the level of anger! Speaking in a loud, strong voice is not the same as an angry voice. Sure he gets confused a lot and I noticed right after the incident in Afghanistan around 9/11 he couldn’t even put on his own jacket! I worked as a paralegal for 15 years and then I decided to go to Aarons go and I worked with elderly people in memory care because they were the ones that always got ignored and left behind. In 2019 I saw early signs and I thought Joe had early dementia or early Alzheimer’s most likely and 2019 to September 11, 2021 was only two years and three months and either he progressed rapidly because Alzheimer’s is one of those illnesses in which people can stay in stage four for six or seven years and then all of a sudden they will drop and decline to stage two in a matter of a month or two, because that happened to one of my former patients and his family admitted Him in late January 2015 and he died July 31 and that’s how fast he declined in 7 to 8 months. SAD! Joe seems to be more like the average person declining at the average rate, but he gets a little bit worse year-by-year and I’ve seen him being probably around stage two late stage 1- early stage two when he was running for office and then by the summer of 2021 he was definitely getting towards late stage two and he’s drastically declined. It is not from working or being stressed out either because his Secretary of State does the majority of his presidential work as well as Jake, Sullivan and Jill. Sad to say, but it’s true, and I’m pretty certain that’s who it is because the leaks coming out of the White House, & Jill shelters Joe, and nobody can get to him except through her. That’s just awful. I’m sure she controls his social media or else gets one of the staff members to do it for him. ALL This time we had a Lyft Democrat, working as a progressive Socialist semicommunist president for the past 3 1/2 years!!! These are just things Joe Biden wouldn’t have done, even when he was vice president or before, but he gets pushed, and Kamala was actually pushing him on the student loan Bail out and that was not Jodi’s idea, and even his secretary of the treasury and Jill told him that was not a good idea, but he still went with it anyway, because Kamala insisted on it, and it would help with the young voters and the black voters. These people have been lied to and they haven’t paid a student loan payment probably in four years and God knows what they’re going to have to pay you back. Perhaps if Donald Trump gets elected president and these people owe 20 or $30,000 in backpay to the department of education, perhaps as a businessman, he can work on some thing with them in order for them to start paying on their loans, but not have to pay all that much upfront, because nobody can afford it. Sadly, there’s nothing much that can be done about people who get private loans and a lot of people that go to Abilene schools get a combination of financial aid if they qualify or they get private loans and the government can’t step in and Signed an executive order that’s going to get over turned by the Supreme Court anyway to try to help these people but there’s gotta be someway maybe Trump is a businessman can talk to some bankers and find out what in the world these people can do to get them some help about getting caught up on their loans. They’re not gonna be able to get caught up because they weren’t paying them so the only thing they can do is possibly reset the terms of their wounds and rather than having them pay you back in 10 years like undergraduate degree, student loans, and 20 years for graduate loans, perhaps the president could get some thing worked out if Trump gets reelected and have these people be allowed a longer time frame in which to pay their loans back so they don’t have these whopper payments. It’s the colleges that have been ripping everybody off anyway

He clearly he has dementia and senility, along with the classic Parkinsonian halting gait. He also had a 'deer in the headlights' facial expression all during the debate, which points to some kind of medication most likely an 'upper.'
The throat clearing is chronic. He is always having to clear his throat.
@@tonyawhitten5199 My point and Dr. Dhand's point is that he was not hoarse or raspy 24 hours aftger the debate. This would indicate that he may have had some sort of medication. A lot of cold medications contain epinephrine which can cause such symptoms especially hyper-activity and a raspy voice.
