    The hair standing up and the buzzing in the rods means there is a lot of built up static electricity in the air. It’s sometimes a sign that lightning is about to strike near you but not always.

    lightning happens when the electrons from the ground connect to the electrons up above you was in a hotspot, most people will leave the hotspot when their hair and their fishing line begin to float, your wife was right when she said this does not feel right, please more videos with the family together I feel like it was pure gold, and as always thank you for keeping the faith,

  • @SouthGeorgiaBassin

    Awesome trip to be able to fish with the wife ! Love it ! The hair standing up usually is caused by static electricity building up in the air around storms with lightning in them. Noticed you fizzing a fish. It would be awesome if you could do a video on how to and when to do that. I'm starting to fish deeper and bigger lakes so I'm sure I need to be doing that sometimes. Enjoyed the video as usual. Thanks for sharing.

    Great video. That buzzing you heard and her hair was static electricity in the air from the lighting. You guys were very lucky and you could tell God was in the boat with you 2. I had same thing happen to me un fla lighting hit a sale boat that was docked up on the dock I was fishing. I thanked the good lord that i didn't get hit. All my hair on my hole body was standing. Found the closet bridge tied off and climb in the rod box waited the storm out. Be safe and be blessed

    i believe what that is in the air is static electricity - i had spark go between my finger and my reel one time and a buddy had his line suspend in the air after a cast one time. If i make it back to G ville again i will definitely book a tiny home! God bless and it's awesome to see you guys have such fun together, we need more stuff like that!

    • @fishinfrenzy2544
      @fishinfrenzy2544 2 года назад

      It’s a fizzing needle to get the air out of the fishes bladder, when you catch them from deep water air gets in their bladder and that’s the only way to get it out

    That is the electricity in the air.
    If your line stays horizontal in the air after a cast and falls in increments or your hair stands up, it's not usually safe. That's normally an indication lightning is inevitable. Be Safe

    I've been on the Kentucky lake a few times when there is a lot of static in the air and the air fills thick. It means their's a Thunder storm on top of you or very close. Only times I've seen lightning hit the water. Now when that happens, I always get off the water as quick as possible. Lightning hitting the water should put the fear of God in everyone! Never take chances with lightning.

    Static electricity in the air and you need to get off the lake basically…if you make a cast and the rod sounds like a light sabre from Star Wars and the line stays up in the air once the bait hits the water…it’s time to pack up and go home! Be safe out there!
