We have smog where I live too. If you look at bimmerworlds website they sell a sap simulator for 70$ and it’s super easy to install. The computer stays happy and as long as you make or buy that plate you’ll have no codes pass emissions and have a good time!
Nice. I just did this to my e46 zhp. I have supersprint headers already installed. Now to code out the bottom 02 and sap! Good content! Keep the videos coming.
The metal we used would start to rust and we didn’t get a new gasket made. Aluminum would be best metal and make sure you get it sealed properly. you’ll be good to go.
This doesn't affect the fuel to air. This is just an emissions thing and when you remove it, it'll throw a dash light. Thats why a tune is needed. Unless you don't mind the light.. in that case just remove it and don't worry about it.
@@TenzaMotorsports ah ok yea mine is s.a.p is broken and I want to delete it with the egr but I realized that you might need a tune to prevent to much richness or leaning during the combustion thing. But I guess ima delete in the future since it can affect mpg and it’s my daily rn
Short, sweet, and to the point, perfect video, Thanks. I don't think I can do this because of smog laws in California but still cool to see, thanks.
Thanks for the comment. Wouldn’t it depend on the year of your vehicle?

Yay the 36 is back😊
How temporary was it? Would it be alright to use it for a (long) while do you think?

What about check engine light? Can u code it out since e36 is OBD 1?
Our light never showed up. But yes most the time you’d have to tune the car to get it off your dash. We got lucky I guess.
Doesn’t it need a tune to not run lean or to rich

@@TenzaMotorsports so basically it’s not necessary but recommended right?
Yup, basically. Most people remove it because, it has either broken or they are trying to free up some space/lose weight.

what about the tubes that the air pump were connected to. do you just leave them open??
No? they are capped.
