I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Thank you. I plan to look into these products. I’m still transitioning but want my silver hair to rock. It’s important to me that my hair look the best that it can because transitioning for me is something I swore I would never do!! Never say never!! 😉

I'm glad you wore red lipstick. I think it looks stunning with the charcoal colors in your hair. I'm 60 and my hair has the same silver/charcoal streaks like yours. I never liked red lipstick on me before with dark hair but now I'm really loving it.

I watched the entire video with great interest. When youtube came up Nikol, your photo was juxtaposed with one of Grace Kelly ; grey hair for you is a natural fashion accessory because you are naturally a beautiful woman. I think your advice is sound but a man (I know beware of men giving advice about appearance) whom I trust said to me -- I am 63 in great shape, considering eyelid surgery some drooping, otherwise got lucky in life style and genes from Dad, whose nickname was Zorba, no need to explain further. Until I am comfortable with shorter hair -- your length, mine is still a mane -- I just have it coloured to what it always was. That day will come, always sooner than later but thank you for your excellent videos and advice!!!

Yeah I will wrap my hair to dry it. I don’t rub the towel on it. Helps to protect it.
You need to make your own gray hair products! you have the best hair I have ever seen so everyone gray will buy it.

I’m going to try this. My hair is falling out so badly maybe these products will help. DO NOT use a blow dryer on my hair, I let it dry naturally. I’m really enjoying all of your suggestions.Take care. ~Barbara

You are stunning! I recently had a stroke and ended up is the hospital for 4 months, right before the holidays so I was waiting to get my usual roots and highlights. Now I’m thinking it’s time to embrace.the gray. I love lots of the gray highlights I’m seeing. So, my question is what the possess going from blond highlights to silver? I have really fine hair and color is brutal. Any advice would be appreciated.

Nikol, like me, you have frizzy short grey hair sticking up from the crown of your head. Do you ever use anything to smooth them down? You inspired me to go grey and I love it, except for the frizzies! Can you research a product that helps with that. Many thanks in advance!

I just wash and condition my hair and lightly towel dry it. I don’t use any styling products. I have grey streaks and grey strands that go all through my hair. I take vitamins for my hair, nails and skin. I also oil my hair with castor oil, vitamin e oil and coconut oil. I have found a black Jamiacon oil conditioner that I use. I also don’t wash my hair everyday.
Deborah Chapa may I ask what type of vitamins u use for your hair, skin fingernails? My fingernails are so thin and constantly breaking off. It drives me crazy! Thanks?

I get compliments from strangers on my hair all the time. I use Nioxin 4 daily except on Saturday and Sunday when I use the best Purple shampoo on sale at ulta lol. I just wash, comb and go. I never style. Thanks for the great video!

@@signsandgraphicsinc Joico color balance purple shampoo. I literally meant whatever I caught on sale. Not really brand specific. But it's a huge bottle and I have had it quite some time now. Works well.

Hi Nikol, I am letting my hair grow out. It's been a year. It was pretty white, but I used a purple shampoo once a week for two weeks recently. It's turned yellow where the gray was and my dark dye turned a lighter brown. It was really weird since the shampoo was designed to take out yellow. The product was called Shimming lights found at Walmart, it was cheap. I don't use any other products in my hair like hair spray. Do you any thoughts on what happened? Have to heard of this from anyone else? Thanks!

Women need to think of their hair like fine washables. Really doesn’t matter what product your using if your not kind to your hair. One of the most important things you can do is not use supper hot water on your hair and your final rinse should be as cool as you can stand in to close the cuticle of the hair shaft!

I think your beautiful and I follow you but I really think you shouldn’t wear the red lipstick.I think you would look so much better in light frosted colors.
Purchased the wake up call shampoo. Did not care for it at all. Very drying and did not give me any volume. Also, the packaging on this is not adequate. It comes in a paper box with no additional wrapping. The shampoo spilled in transit.
Irons burn your hair- that’s the “yellow”!
Amrita Douglas A water filter on the shower head helps a lot by reducing mineral deposits which causes yellowing. Because my hair is white I can actually see every pass with any heat iron singeing my hair with every pass...be it flat or curl!

Kudos for the Video! Forgive me for the intrusion, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you tried - Dinanlinson Bright Colour Approach (google it)? It is a good one off product for learning how to get your natural hair color back without the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cousin finally got astronomical results with it.

I need to ask, you're too young for gray hair so why did you want to go gray and not color it? Btw, I love your eyebrows, love thick eyebrows as they frame the face and makes any face look beautiful.
There is no such thing as “Too Young for gray hair” it’s called Beauty Reinvented. My entire platform explains why I decided to embrace gray hair along with all the videos on my channel 😘
@@NikolJohnson I've seen quite a few of your video's and it's all good, just a choice of 'embracing' gray hair or not to 'embrace' it. If I went gray I'd look 100 years old but that's just me.
