      This is actually an art form which stands in its own right. It is called Tatting, it is not crochet.

    If you just drop the bobbin occasionally to let the thread untangle it would make a more cohesive demonstration that would be easier to follow.

      @@akshaybelavanaki5269 The one I'm using in the video is more than 35 year old shuttle.
      This one looks similar and there are few more on Amazon. Hope this helps.

      @@rimacornolius6071 Not every thread is suitable and would become difficult to follow the process. Better to use only crochet or Tatting threads.

    Why don't you use crochet hook for joining, it's so convenient.
