Thanks for sharing and taking the time to arrange the video! Regarding the skills of the drivers you should somehow consider that „drifting“ an old WRC 4 wheel driven car equipped with full active differentials and soft slick tyres would be most stressfull for the entire mechanics and you easily can break driveshafts or propshafts or even differential gears. So mostly at least I try to avoid it as it is costly enough to run the cars. In the end it is obviously better to drive them, rather than to let them rot in a museum…..
Which car did you take part with? I helped the owner of start number 8 with the brakes ... Still not satisfactory, but you can drive. Some viewers think that spare parts for these cars grow on trees and can be harvested for free. Many also think they can do better, you just don't see them in any video ..
Honestly, just seeing them on a stage is a gift already. I think they have to be used, but as you said, some 4wd systems really suffer doing agreesive drifts, not to say that also the amount of grip they have is so big that you have to be very rude with the drivetrain to make it let go. Also, I can imagine in the case of the r5 turbos has to be hard to keep a good slide, same with the 911, the weight distribution, and also on the r5 the turbo lag and short wheel base... props to them for just trying! Hope to see you all again next year! And hopefully to cross with you again on the street like this year! I was the red r33 gtr! 😁
Mucho 💲💲💲y pocas ✋✋✋
Great compilation,especially the SEAT Panda😍

5:24 Car No. 8 almost didnt make it to the Event . A lot work to bring the breaks into working conditions ....
tragic
