There could have been a large flood but it didn't flood the whole planet.
How tf would Noah have been able to collect all the billions of species on each continent and fit it on one boat. Sure we could make a boat large enough and perhaps get 2 of each organism (not sure how it would work for insect colonies though)
Not to mention all the issues with re-populating an entire planet after the flood was over. How would the animals go back to their original place? what would they eat during their time on the ship?
edit: Im sure there was a large flood -maybe even a boat for the family- but it only covored a small area. Then (if this was real, not folklore or a parable for faith) later writers added the story with all and plants animals going on the boat. BTW what about the fungi and all the other life foarms?

Keep in mind that Man was given the right of naming all of the animals and one would expect that the creator would source someone with talents that would essentially be equivalent to being an animal whisperer, one who is capable of essentially communicating with the animals. I would expect that Noah and his family had those inherited talents and as such was then able to keep the animals from consuming each other.

As far as modern archeological digs show us, as well as the implausibility of a man and his family building a wooden ship (the largest wooden ships don't come close to that size and use vast, inaccessible amounts to Noah of steel in it's structure) that could carry the close to 10 million animal species in the world, not getting horrific mutations due to inbreeding, and manage to repopulate the Earth in 4800 years after a total wipeout of all biodiversity (the five prior mass extinctions, a close enough analogue, which didn't kill nearly as much as the flood is advertised as having done, took millions of years before having the same level of biodiversity), Noah's ark didn't and couldn't exist. There is evidence of a small scale localised flood near the dead sea, and Noah's narrative could have come out of it, being exaggerated and changed into what the bible describes, or, the narrative could have resulted from the physiological fact that when human bladders are full, we tend to dream of water related things. In either case, the Noah flood narrative is implausible at best, impossible and laughable at worst.
There was no inbreeding he didn't grab animals of the same family, and it took Noah 120 years to build the ark. You need to at least know the bible (regardless of what you believe) to make a set-argument, which you clearly do not.

Assuming the thirty or so hamster pups were not from the same couple, that probably wouldn't be enough generations for any concerning problems. Also, fast breeding animals like rodents are less prone to genetic mishaps from incest, while larger animals and people are at larger risk when inbred. You can go and look up historical cases of inbreeding in people like the Habsburg family.
You should also remember that the small amount of time your hamsters have been breeding is nothing compared to the thousands of years the animals after the ark would have to repopulate with just two individuals; that much time inbreeding would drive any species to extinction.

Several inaccuracies in this video. For one; the bible does not specifically say the ark came to rest on Mt. Ararat. It says it came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. Ararat is a region with mountains in it. A very large vast region. Also there is an immense plethora of evidence for a world wide flood. There are fossils of fish on mountain tops all over the world and even in the grand canyon. Most of the water on our planet would have been under ground and in a shield of moisture surrounding the earth before the flood. Meaning 100% protection against all UV rays and increased oxygen levels which would guarantee substantially longer and healthier life for every living thing on the planet (men living to be hundreds of years old). You would not have continents separated by huge oceans which means the whole argument against animals not being able to travel to where the ark was is refuted. Also not every species was brought onto the ark. The bible says male and female after their kind. This means that Noah did not have to bring two lions and two tigers and two leopards and two jaguars. Those all have a common ancestor that belong to the Genus Panthera group and could breed all of those just as several breeds of dogs can come from two separate strains of DNA. Also not all of the animals would have been adult. Baby (or at least very young) animals are smaller so they take up less space, they eat less, produce less waste and will have a much longer span of life once they exited the ark. The story of the ark is not an impossible thing to believe in. Maybe if God didn't exist it would have been impossible to gather all of those animals but Noah didn't have to do any gathering of animals. God gave direction to every animal that was to be brought into the ark. But of course there are those who do not want to believe so they will throw whatever arguments they hear from other non believers. Either way. The event happened.

@2020Max Gagnon God makes a way. Also it was two of every animal after it's kind so it was animals in relation to those you mentioned. Also before the great flood the waters weren't as high to separate continents. The animals travels to Noah and he didn't have to gather them. Remember the people who jeered at him that got swept away in the flood? The same goes for those who say Lord Jesus isn't coming back.

Skippy, I'll give you 5 of over 100 scientific reasons we know it didn't happen: 1)the green river valves contain over 20 million annual pollen layers. 2) the ice core samples show over 1 million years and no evidence of a flood. 3) the meanders of the Bryce and Grand Canyons 4) the angular unconformities of both canyons 5) buried insect burrows in the supposed flood layers.

Keep in mind that, for a long time, much of what would make up the Bible was told in the oral tradition. It's possible that the events of Noah's Ark are based on some real life event, but the story continued to evolve as it was shared over the years.

Bible never said Noah's Ark landed on Mount Ararat. The Bible said it landed in the Mountains of Ararat. You could be anywhere in that entire mountain range. If I said I Crash Landing aircraft in the Rocky Mountains did that mean I have landed on Rocky Mountain which is a single mountain in the rocky mountain range? No I could have landed anywhere in that Rocky Mountain Range would stretches for thousands of miles. Just something I observed while watching the video. Now here's a question for you. Actually Wyatt's ark was discovered back in the early 60's and was shown to just be a geographical formation. Even Ken Ham (who would benefit from the discovery) says that that is not the ark.

We have zero contemporary evidence for Jesus. There is also plenty of evidence for Hypatia. Contemporary sources mention her and we have some of her writings. people keep using this argument that there is more evidence for Jesus than person 'X' and it never works because the evidence for Jesus is so thin. Nothing contemporary and nothing extra-biblical until the 2nd century, long after the time of his alleged life. The docetic and celestial versions of Jesus actually do have early writings behind them. Look up the reference to Jesus, son of God, agent of creation in the writings of Philo, circa 25 AD!
