    Superbly excellent videos on the Camino del Norte! Very very well done. What kind of crew did you have? Another person operating the camera, and did you have a separate drone operator?

      Thank you! I did have a cameraman that helped out immensely, and i was the drone pilot

    I’ve done the Camino Frances in 2017 and planning to do the Camino del Norte this summer. How would you compare the two in terms of difficulty? Great videos, by the way. Cant wait to watch the next episode. Well done😀

    Really enjoying your videos and commentary! I was an exchange student in Gijon 30 years ago and planning to walk the Camino del norte with two friends for our "anniversary" from Santander to Gijon at the end of August, with a few days in Gijon to visit friends at the end. Would love some recommendations of places you stayed along that stretch and whether you'd recommend them. Gracias!

      Thanks Teresa! unfortunately, I can not remember all the places I stayed at. I used booking.com to find small hotels along the route and I was sure to make sure they had a high rating. Buen Camino!

    Difficult I know in such a beautiful video, not a criticism, but Villaviciosa in Spanish is pronounced 'Billabiciosa'. This city is the centre for cider in the whole of Spain.

    Hola,
    If wild camping this route, do most of the small towns and villages on the trail have small stores/shops for basic resupply of daily food?...To make my evening meal at camp...Thanks.

    Great report. It will be very useful for me to this summer (if it's possible). Only one recommendation , the music is not very appropriated to the North of Spain. You have used a lot of music from the south of Spain (as flamenco and others), and the culture is totally different. Spain is much more than the South as you have seen in your trip. But I repeat, the views, although I knew the most of the villages, the views have encouraged me to do this trail. Thanks a lot

    • @TheTravelVlogger
      @TheTravelVlogger  4 года назад

      glad you like it. Unfortunately it wasn't easy to get any free northern spain music, so staying with spanish music seemed the most appropriate.

    Hy Friend! Congratulation your re an incredible person!
    Have Question!
    When you found yourself in front of the crossroads what did you choose? for Oviedo (Camino Primitivo)? or continued for the Camino del Notrh?

    Thank you for helping me decide which way I'll have to go. My ancestors are from an area called La Matiella between Gijón and Avilles. It's where my last name comes from. It's my dream to visit there someday. It might be slightly off trail but did you happen to go there or know of it?

    • @TheTravelVlogger
      @TheTravelVlogger  3 года назад +1

    Bro, love your videos but from Gijon to Aviles is one of the ugliest stages on the whole Camino del Norte. Mines and industry everywhere, all day. Again, love your videos but you can be honest about the days which weren't that great cause of course not every day was perfect. This is something I've really come to understand while walking the Camino del Norte.

      Great idea at the end of each day to both air out your shoes and feet. It helps drying them out and preventing blisters. Even if you wear shoes each day its a good idea to bring sandals or thongs to wear each night..

    I live right by Villaviciosa, because I love being woken by the birds and see the mist hanging above the rolling green hills. Great video, but your pronunciation of Gijón and Avilés is really hard on the ear. It should sound more like Hee-hon and Aveelays. It only has one L after all, not like Villaviciosa!

    • @TheTravelVlogger

      I am not a professional, but my personal believe is that it comes down more to diet. Cut sugar, carbs and alcohol out of your diet and you will be on the fast track to losing lbs
