You have no idea how much this video has helped me x) I've never done anything technical like that before so I was worried i might mess something up when I do eventually try to upgrade my mic. But seeing you do it step by step really showed me that it's not so hard actually x) I'm going to order the parts for it soon and upgrade my mic!
Hi, I bought the exact same circuit board and tried to install on my BM800 with the 34mm capsule. After install, the mic did not work and there was alot of noisy humming from the speakers. I don't know if I installed it correctly. Maybe you can help. For the capsule, I have 2 wires, one from the center of the capsule and another from the side. Do I connect the center wire to the + and side wire to the - part of the board? (I did this and the mic did not work). I'm quite certain the XLR connections are correct. Is there any other things I need to do? 😅😅😅
Check your ground wire, make sure you didn’t swap any wires around, check for any crossing. If you're getting a hard buzz... make sure you are properly grounded. For the diaphragm/capsule. The center is positive and either far side post is ground. I modded my to have the capsule facing TOP so now I can boom mic and point it at me as most do before that not knowing it's sideways LOL. But for real, I modded it and I had that same hard buzz. Check your XLR connections and all. Again, make sure you are not crossing(solder touching from one point to another.)
@limtk55 check your xlr connection. If I am not mistaken, the xlr connection from the board is labeled with number 1 2 and 3. Connect those to the same number in the xlr pins that are also numbered 1 2 and 3. By the way, this circuit needs phantom power
"The input microphone and audio sensitivity are adjustable" . Stated on product page. Do you know what does it mean? Does it have to do with the + and - marks on the board, close to the mic sign?
The + and - marks on the board are for the capsule hot and ground connection. For the audio sensitivity, maybe it's for the mic gain adjustment by changing any resistor from the board but I dont have any idea which one.
gagana po ba to kung alang soundcard/phantom power (rekta sa audio in ng motherboard)? nasira po kase bm800 ko naghahanap ako possible replacement na board eto agad nakita ko ahah

Thanks ❤
Can you please show closer how the wires are attached to the corresponding circuits?

I also did that and all i got was loud static and noise. I just think it is a faulty unit

Replacing a board is not modification still.
Paano nyo po kinasya sa baba yung wire papuntang xlr? Akaharang yung white square na housing
No modifications na po. Kasyang kasya po sya. Gamit ka lang maninipis na wires
O baliktarin mo lang yung pcb mag kakasya yan
can i use this circuit without phantom power ?
No. You need phantom power since it uses an electret mic capsule. Electret mic capsule needs power
Actually for a large diaphragm to.
