Your pronunciation of the -plop- sound made me happier than a plop-sound ought do! Lovely voice.
The story tho, oh no! All the versions of Stone Soup I've known, the town folk come together around a soldier(s) traveling home. If one had carrots, and a different person had potato, someone else was able to offer herbs, Stone Soup was able to feed the village.
This story, a single old woman gives all the ingredients to a stranger and only gets a taste. The moral had been about community, this version seems more a "strangers are lying swindlers" story. (Which can also be a lesson, just, less heart warming.)
