I'm sorry, but i disagree 1) 99% of element team comps will actually include Diana AND Arines/hLathel/bHelena, depending on your dpsers 2) Since meta revolves around elemental comps - it actually makes it mandtory to have both phys/mag buffers like hLathel and bHelena, so you can adapt your team comp depending on content. This time it is weak to Dark so you use magic Eclipse/Celia. Next time time it could be weak to Wind, so you could build your team around magic Dalvi. Etc.
@@tienvu1282 Her "anti-dystopia" costume that is currently on banner - is not. The one that is a must-have - is her original costume, which you can get one copy from pub after beating chapter 10. Getting dupes for that costume makes big improvements tho.

@@RuruDouji I think of Diana like a sustainer (not much of that consider a 1-turn shield LOL) still only 1pp to prevent nuke is a decent choice when you don't have good dmg (I only have Celia/Eclipse for Dark, Liatris/new Fire mage for Fire, none for Wind, Schera/Roxy for Water,....) and gear are pretty terrible as well with only 1-2 IV rank UR.
Wouldn't Helena be really good for Dalvi tho? I think Dalvi got swept under a rug because of the limited edition pulls, but she still seems really in a magic team strong.
In PVP it's not possible to use both because Dalvi is quite high cost, maybe for defense doable, as for PVE I could see them both being viable for sure. Maybe less so for bosses but more for Campaign.

Yes one thing to note is notable hybrid team buffer is Samay + Red Riding Hood Rou. Those 2 are also really really good. That being said Helena is more of a strong PVP buffer unit than anything else.
I went for the +5 Helena for my magic comp...have +5 Eclipse and +3 Diana (both costumes). Was really excited about a strong magic team, and just seems like she's still a value add. Though now you got me questioning if I should have saved!

Do you think you would have used Helena more if she was +5? Cause that's a major power spike as she will - like rou - give 50% crit right? Looking at the new E.O.N. boss beeing light type - a team consisting of Helena, Celia and Eclipse & Diana will be crazy.
He's definitely thinking from a +3 perspective. She's a +5 or bust character. The crit buff is what's important, her magic buff is a bonus. But there lies the problem. Spending so much to get a +5 that isn't limited might not be worth it.
I used Rou because of the energy guard, less to do with the Cri Rate. The bosses has big AoE that sometimes 1-2 of your characters will get hit regardless. The Crit Rate is a bonus for Angelica where she doesn't need any magic dmg at all.
Helena is definitely better for PvP imo, but Diana is 100% the best pve buffer. You can use both if you don't need Rou's shield, but personally I end up needing the shield most of the time. Also Rou+shield Diana is pretty huge against bosses. You can use Diana's shield when Rou's runs out. With an SP generator like bunny Eclispe, you'll have no issues with the extra sp cost.

I would recommend pulling for limited, anything like Helena have a chance to spook you in the future. So far my experience in pulling is you will get a lot of off-banner characters easily.
mmmmm if you dont have the broken gear/time/money/gold to get really good gear (talking about +crit%) then Helena is great... since there is a HUGE difference between a crit and a non crit... +5 Beclipse crit will wipe even those 10k+hp in arena... but if she doesn't crit then even those 5k hp can survive... soooo yah having an Elena to almost guarantee a crit is a must IMHO (or any other +crit... just Helena does +mdamage AND +crit) ... but then again if you already have 99% crit from op broken gear then i guess to you the extra survival from Diana's shield would be better. PS: diana's shield scales off her mattack soo if you give her +55% mattack from Helena and then use her aura... does her shield get 55% bigger? (i mean Helena is great and Diana is good... soo why not use both?) PS2: arena is up all the time while the even boss is only up like 1 week per event? why is the rare event boss the meta?
If you're f2p/light spender I'd hold off on Helena. +5 will definitely help your account, but with how stacked half anni is, it would be way better to save for 1 year anni. She'll probably spook you a couple of times anyway. Not to mention the universal dupes and potential selectors in the future (assuming no power creep).

diana's shield is affected by matk buffs just like sylvia's shield being affected by patk buffs
