Exept none of these dev monsters have anything besides a model and even then they aren’t rigged. So no they aren’t slowing down the development of updates at all
As far as I'm aware, the dev monsters only have models. No movesets or animations except 1 running animation as seen In the video. I also read somewhere they'll work on devs monsters in the background so the game's updates are consistent.

I hate when they make these "dev only monster so we look cool haha". If i were the dev and wanted to look cool i would simply use the old monsters moveset, like old uncle sam and old EXE. Or just a unreleased monster.
Who knows those dev exclusives might be a last resort if they don’t know what else to add but besides that.. Im so excited for the host, sonic, and jeff

If it took like 1 month and a half for them to release fuwatti the character with a copy paste move from ao oni, and the most basic charge attack in the game, these dev monsters will set us back like 6 months minimum
Man like if you had dev exclusive skins that be fine but gate keeping enter monsters thats just cruel you already have the model textures animations and move sets so why not release them to the public when they're done like every other monster
I wouldn't say grimbear really looks buff, he has similar proportions (minus his size) to MX, so a square sort of build, I would also argue it makes a little bit of sense with the lamb, since the wolf is suposed to be a werewolf im pretty sure and sometimes werewolves are depicted as muscular. just my opinion though.
