I dont understand character wish. Are you saying the 90 pity gets reset if you get a 4 star before it? Does 90 reset with new different character event begins?
Get through spiral abyss 3-3 and you get xiangling for free. Just need characters at level 44 and artifacts to match their character strengths. Like if you got fischl from free pull she does well for crit. Kaeda is a good dps character or elemental. Mc is great for elemental burst reactions on their anemo setting. You can upgrade constellation for MC purchasing a special product from the sigil store.
2 fire units barbera and the character you want to be the strongest. Save for Razor in the store if you can. you should get him at about AR 35. Typically you want a main damage dealer to be a claymore user but Xiangling with cresent pike can carry abyss floor 8 easily. just gotta find that other carry. Geo main charcter is very strong and underated. just check any f2p abyss runs and you'll see how people do it without being lucky in pulls.

@@jjeemmiinn9754 Traveller may not be the best dps, depends on how you build - most people don't normally use traveller as dps cos early on they get other characters that they develop I'd say depends who you have, make sure you have 1 or 2 characters who's the carries in your team. As you ascend WL you need to ascend one or two characters accordingly too
I know a lot of people are complaining about the resin system, so I want to offer a solution. Make resin not a requirement, but rather a buff. Basically, if you use resin you will get full rewards, but if you don’t use resin you get only 10% of the reward (the number can change). This would let people grind their hearts out, thus giving them the gameplay loop they want, and decide what rewards they want to capitalize on without forcing players to play for hours everyday just to keep up with the rest of the community.
Or something like diminishing returns instead of resin... doing too much bosses ? too bad, soon youll get almost no loot, change it up to domains. Done too much of them too ? dont worry, by the time youre done, like 1/3 of the bosses will be back, so you get slightly more loot... There is this, instead of limit the players, just indirectly force them to do something else, maybe even buff the different thing theyll do too, like slightly more loot ? we have come a long damn way in game design on PC, this wont make us happy like mobile sheep

@@erluq9309 Single pulls are more "lucky" in a way. For example, you do a 10 draw and you get a 4 star with pity. But, you can just draw 1 and get a 4 star. You shouldn't 10 draw because there are no additional benefits. If you are lucky, you can get 2 4 star characters in 10 draws with the same amount of wishes.

Ye, after watching this video i did 5 single pulls and just got venti, then i did 10 single pulls on the commun banner and got 3 4* weapons and the Claymore ice Boy ( Forgot the name rn), i dont even know wich team i should do rn. Lmao

you do great videos and usually pretty good tips, but the single wishes while they are better are better for a different reason. you can get multiple 4 stars in a 10 roll and thus any excess still rolls over towards your next one even in a 10 roll which means that the reason you stated doesent actually make singles better. the only reason singles are better is because you can quit a bit earlier if you get the last thing you were looking for.
The counter resets "faster" if you do singles, the rates for multis and singles are the same that means you get a 4* every 10 summons and a 5* Star every 90 summons, quitting earlier is a good reason, I prefer multi summons tho
@@user-tx5gh5wf4f Rolling the multi wish is exactly the same as rolling the single wish 10 times as far as I can tell from everything I've seen. If you get a 4 star as the first pull of a multi-wish, and no more 4 stars in that wish, your next multi-wish will always get a 4 star first for example. Which means that quitting earlier is the only benefit of the multi.

Regarding the "ingredients as ascension materials" issue.... If you're feeling particularly and have the right characters, you could chance the cooking bonuses some characters get (ex. special dishes, % chance of receiving 2-for-1 meals) For example, I almost exclusively used Kaeya as the crafter when making Chicken-Mushroom Skewers. Same goes with Barbara on HP items. When making dishes that use ascension ingredients, I always check to see if I have a character that can get a bonus when making that dish to get the most out of the ingredients.
Your odds of getting a rare summon from wishing 1x and 10x are the same. This is because the 10x algorithm makes it wish 1x over and over again until 10, so if it resets in between you can get more than 2 4* or higher in a single 10 roll. This might be realised by anyone who has rolled 2 or more in a single 10 wish. In addition, legally speaking, the odds of rolling 1x and 10x should be equal (albeit not disclosed in details, mihoyo should)
For the wishes thing, I don't know if it's been updated since you made this video, but each summon in a multi is considered a single wish, so it's still more efficient to do multis.
I have a cuestion, if you summon in one banner and don't get a five star, those still count for pitty in the next banner? Say, I made 20 wishes in Childe banner and didn't get him. Would those count in the Zhongli banner?
I love this game but, damn I'm so unlucky when it comes to wishes. Up till now I still don't have varieties of characters, always the same characters per summon.

I am addicted towards this game. This isn't the first time I am addicted towards a game but this one gives a new separate fealing wish there will be an pvp type system or co-op story mode exists in the game so that people from different worlds fight for the ultimate glory. If this happen this game will take esport by storm.

Dihiboy yeah but has anyone confirmed there’s a difference? You can get multiple 4-5* pulls using ten-wishes, do we know it doesn’t use the same counter, just gives you a batch of 10? Maybe at the end of a banner or if you’re switching banners you would want to single-pull and end on a four-star, is that what you mean?
it's useful in some specific situations, example: you're a f2p player and you want to save primogems for whatever purpose, you also want Fischl which you don't have yet, you have enough for a 10pull, by doing single wishes you can stop spending your fates as soon as you get fischl and saves the rest for maybe future character rate up banners whereas if you do the 10pull, get lucky and get fishcl on the 3rd or 4th roll you "wasted" the rest of your fates
I'll give you an example :) yesterday I was at 72 pulls on Venti banner, a few 4 stars chars so far, nothing crazy. Gathered a few more primos to have 10 more pulls. Instead of doing a multi I went for single and guess what? I got Venti on 75th doing single :) So technically I saved 7 wished by not doing multi summons on this one and still got my pitty timer to reset at 75 instead of 90 pulls ! 😄
I would also farm every flower because they are all ascension materials for some character. Also farm frogs and crabs. Crabs are used to make the 5 star attk buff dish, and frogs can make potions that increase elemental damage
What he means. Is if you want a 4 star. And u went 1 by 1. And you get it on your 4th. You "saved" 6 rolls. So you could stop and save for your next banner. Or if U dropped venti on roll 3. You can stop and save for the next banner after. Its not innately better. But if you're wanting to not spend more on the banner afterwards 1 by 1 is better as you can stop as soon as you get your item/character instead of potentially getting a couple more items u didnt want
no it is not true. Only the pity system includs the single wish. the 10 summon guarantee does not work in single wishes. It is such a basic system in gatcha games......

Some Ascension Materials ( especially Ingredients ) are sold at shops, often at exorbitant prices if you need just one or two more. Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue and the Flower Shop(s) in Montstadt are some examples.

Normally, people would wait and save up, so they have 10 of the fates, allowing them to do the multi that guarantees the 4-star. However, he is telling us that we can reach it faster if we just spend the wishes in single summons, allowing us to get the items/characters more quickly, as we don't have to bother about waiting for the multi anymore.
That part is bullshit. Since you can't really have things happening at the exact same time on a computer, summoning 10 or 1 won't change anything, when you get a 4 stars it resets the count, summoning 10 or 1 changes absolutely nothing it's a preference
biggest issue with single pull over the 10 pull is you lose the 1.0% addition to each of the 10 items for a chance for each to be a 5* and the 7.9% to get a 4 star to each of the 10 pulled.. So its still better to pull 10 at a time
Hi im free 2 play currently and got 2 ventis already. Should i keep investing my points into the venti banner or switch to another OR save them for future banners? Also Venti and Fischl getting nerfed so im not sure what to do. I got 1 Venti copy and 2 Fischl copys so far.

i started playing yesterday and the main confusion for me is whether i should invest my upgrade materials on character or weapon that i got in first 3 free gacha or should i wait until i get a S-tier character or best weapon.. and another confusion is that how would i know if i got a best weapon and i should upgrade it .. there is literally a tons of weapons and i am confused which one should i use and upgrade because i fear if i get some better weapon then all works and materials will be lost 🙄🥺
There are videos about what the best weps, chars and artifacts are. Also the chance of getting an amazing char or wep is abyssmaly low in this game. So unless your whale or crazy lucky, just focus on what ever you got with your free mulit summons.
Tested this myself just now with the permanent wishes (counter was at 4) and 5 single summons later got a 4* character (Chongyun) so thanks for this clarity. But speaking of the pity system with the 1 in 90 for a 5*, is that across all banners or only within 1 banner?

I got Jean, Qiqi and Chongyun on my second wish after getting Noelle from the beginner wish. lmao my friend literally scream unfair because I only did a single reroll and he already on his 15th reroll lmao. In the end, he end up getting Diluc and some 4 star characters. After, around AR10, i did 12 times single wish and got Venti. Was really hoping for Mona tbh.

The pity count always resets once you get 5 star item/chara even if you got it on the second or even first pull. It is just a matter of luck if you get multiple 5 stars on a row (seen some people pulling both Mona and Venti on their first 10x roll)
You need 90 (9 10 draws, or 90 singles) to get a guaranteed 5* unit from a banner. If you pull Venti on pull 36, the count drops to 0. If you go all the way to 90 and get the pity, you will have a 50% chance of that unit being the one with the rate up (on the Venti banner, it's Venti). If you go all the way to 90 again (180) and get the pity, you will once again have a 50% chance of that unit being the one with the rate up. Long story short, the moment you get a 5* to pop up, it's a 50% chance of it being Venti, and no matter what, the number resets to 0, needing 90 pulls again to get pity. The hope is that you DON'T need to go all the way to 90, but it's the cushion if your RNG is just very bad. This is NOT the case with the "Diluc/Jean" banner - that banner has no rate up on any unit, and any 5* will have a chance to be any of the characters or any of the 5* weapons. It functions the same but without the higher chance at a specific character.
I suck at spiral abyss because my character damage output is so low. Right now I am focusing on weapon upgrading and character leveling. I am still doing quests and story mode to further my character progress. I would like to find all the anemoculus by next week. Then hopefully finish revealing the rest of liyue. The game is very time consuming. That is a good thing I guess.
I am currently using razor(Main Dps)+Fischl+Barbara+Xiangling currently rolled Venti who should i swap him with or is he even worth swappong for this team comp.

It will transfer over, in the offical discord server, one of the devs responded to a player confirming it does transfer over to another exclusive banner
Regarding the pity system. Is the 4-star counter independent of 5-star (not vice versa)? As in, if you got a 5-stars along the way and it's 4/10 of your way from your next guaranteed 4-stars, does that counter resets? The opposite definitely isn't true otherwise no one would get 5-stars but the way you say "reach both of this pity awards in a single pull" makes me question it.
About gacha, is there any chance for getting 5 star? If every 10x pull grants 4 stars or above, then how many times for getting 5 stars? Someone said it's 90x and then if you got that it will reset again, it's that true?

Yup obvipusly it also applies to 5 stars. I think what he wanted to say was that this game doesn't give any type of bonus for wishing 10 at a time, lika a lot of other games do. So multi wishing 10 at once is exactly the same as pulling 10 single pulls, there no difference at all
If you have the sudden urge to gacha for particularly no reason, do normal banner single roll until you're fed up with the animation. You might stop around 5 because of the long and need to push skip twice to end it quickly

Patrick Steinsen I used my free summons from mail lol I mean I’m lucky When I first played Genshin with the free Fates and Gems I pulled 10x 4 times and got Gold Mine 2 Beginner Pulls gave me Beidou, Noelle, Ningguang, Bennett I did 1 10x Interwined Fate the Venti Banner which gave me Diluc, Fischl, I did 1 10x Acquainted Fate the Standard Banner which gave me Chongyun, Xingjiu Intertwined is GREAT I got Diluc on my first 10 pull on Venti Banner not kidding Make a new account and roll to see if you get a better pull in beginning then play that account BEAT THE SYSTEM
Chongyun can't combine with Oz, they will negate each other. Not entirely negate but the point is they will render super-conduct effect useless. Not just Oz tho, any electric based characters won't work well with Chongyun. UNLESS, Fischl is your main DPS, not chongyun.

I disagree I have video clips of it working and I use Xingqiu for wet Effect to freeze enemies the superconduct works otherwise I wouldn’t see it say it on screen maybe you should better build your elemental resonance I don’t always use Fischl either I switch her out But Chongyun works with Electro you just don’t know how to do it
@@angevaile I think what he means is that the superconduct debuff reduces physical defense. However, as long as you hit inside chongyun circle you will not deal physical damage, but cryo. So the debuff is wasted. The proc still happens of course

does the petty system carry on the next banned like i had 63 wishes on venti banner but never got a 5* so does my 63 wishes saves till next event banner so i can just reach 90 there and get the new 5* character or does it reset?
There is no difference in single vs multi wish other than you can stop whenever you want with singles so there is no reason not to end your day off with converting all those premo gems into wishes for your preferred banner and making as many wishes as you can. Don't forget to spend your glitter on wishes as well at 5 per wish (unless you are saving for a weapon or if one of the 2 offered glitter characters are ones you want/want constellations for.

Or something like diminishing returns instead of resin... doing too much bosses ? too bad, soon youll get almost no loot, change it up to domains. Done too much of them too ? dont worry, by the time youre done, like 1/3 of the bosses will be back, so you get slightly more loot... There is this, instead of limit the players, just indirectly force them to do something else, maybe even buff the different thing theyll do too, like slightly more loot ?

@@erluq9309 Single pulls are more "lucky" in a way. For example, you do a 10 draw and you get a 4 star with pity. But, you can just draw 1 and get a 4 star. You shouldn't 10 draw because there are no additional benefits. If you are lucky, you can get 2 4 star characters in 10 draws with the same amount of wishes.

you do great videos and usually pretty good tips, but the single wishes while they are better are better for a different reason. you can get multiple 4 stars in a 10 roll and thus any excess still rolls over towards your next one even in a 10 roll which means that the reason you stated doesent actually make singles better. the only reason singles are better is because you can quit a bit earlier if you get the last thing you were looking for.
The counter resets "faster" if you do singles, the rates for multis and singles are the same that means you get a 4* every 10 summons and a 5* Star every 90 summons, quitting earlier is a good reason, I prefer multi summons tho

@@user-tx5gh5wf4f Rolling the multi wish is exactly the same as rolling the single wish 10 times as far as I can tell from everything I've seen. If you get a 4 star as the first pull of a multi-wish, and no more 4 stars in that wish, your next multi-wish will always get a 4 star first for example. Which means that quitting earlier is the only benefit of the multi.

Regarding the "ingredients as ascension materials" issue....
If you're feeling particularly and have the right characters, you could chance the cooking bonuses some characters get (ex. special dishes, % chance of receiving 2-for-1 meals)
For example, I almost exclusively used Kaeya as the crafter when making Chicken-Mushroom Skewers. Same goes with Barbara on HP items. When making dishes that use ascension ingredients, I always check to see if I have a character that can get a bonus when making that dish to get the most out of the ingredients.
Your odds of getting a rare summon from wishing 1x and 10x are the same. This is because the 10x algorithm makes it wish 1x over and over again until 10, so if it resets in between you can get more than 2 4* or higher in a single 10 roll. This might be realised by anyone who has rolled 2 or more in a single 10 wish.
In addition, legally speaking, the odds of rolling 1x and 10x should be equal (albeit not disclosed in details, mihoyo should)
For the wishes thing, I don't know if it's been updated since you made this video, but each summon in a multi is considered a single wish, so it's still more efficient to do multis.

Hi, sorry but i didn't get the wishing part. Why do we need to do single summons compared to x10?
Every 10 will be guaranteed 4* or above, and it resets. If you get a 4* from the 2nd single summon, you save 8 pulls for next time.
Dihiboy yeah but has anyone confirmed there’s a difference? You can get multiple 4-5* pulls using ten-wishes, do we know it doesn’t use the same counter, just gives you a batch of 10? Maybe at the end of a banner or if you’re switching banners you would want to single-pull and end on a four-star, is that what you mean?
it's useful in some specific situations, example: you're a f2p player and you want to save primogems for whatever purpose, you also want Fischl which you don't have yet, you have enough for a 10pull, by doing single wishes you can stop spending your fates as soon as you get fischl and saves the rest for maybe future character rate up banners whereas if you do the 10pull, get lucky and get fishcl on the 3rd or 4th roll you "wasted" the rest of your fates
I'll give you an example :) yesterday I was at 72 pulls on Venti banner, a few 4 stars chars so far, nothing crazy. Gathered a few more primos to have 10 more pulls. Instead of doing a multi I went for single and guess what? I got Venti on 75th doing single :) So technically I saved 7 wished by not doing multi summons on this one and still got my pitty timer to reset at 75 instead of 90 pulls ! 😄

I would also farm every flower because they are all ascension materials for some character. Also farm frogs and crabs. Crabs are used to make the 5 star attk buff dish, and frogs can make potions that increase elemental damage

Normally, people would wait and save up, so they have 10 of the fates, allowing them to do the multi that guarantees the 4-star. However, he is telling us that we can reach it faster if we just spend the wishes in single summons, allowing us to get the items/characters more quickly, as we don't have to bother about waiting for the multi anymore.
That part is bullshit. Since you can't really have things happening at the exact same time on a computer, summoning 10 or 1 won't change anything, when you get a 4 stars it resets the count, summoning 10 or 1 changes absolutely nothing it's a preference
If you pulled venti on the fourth try, you can then stop and save for the next featured banner.
To sum it up, the "guaranteed 4 star every 10 summon" rule also applied in single summon
biggest issue with single pull over the 10 pull is you lose the 1.0% addition to each of the 10 items for a chance for each to be a 5* and the 7.9% to get a 4 star to each of the 10 pulled.. So its still better to pull 10 at a time

There are videos about what the best weps, chars and artifacts are. Also the chance of getting an amazing char or wep is abyssmaly low in this game. So unless your whale or crazy lucky, just focus on what ever you got with your free mulit summons.

Tested this myself just now with the permanent wishes (counter was at 4) and 5 single summons later got a 4* character (Chongyun) so thanks for this clarity.

The pity count always resets once you get 5 star item/chara even if you got it on the second or even first pull. It is just a matter of luck if you get multiple 5 stars on a row (seen some people pulling both Mona and Venti on their first 10x roll)
You need 90 (9 10 draws, or 90 singles) to get a guaranteed 5* unit from a banner.
If you pull Venti on pull 36, the count drops to 0.
If you go all the way to 90 and get the pity, you will have a 50% chance of that unit being the one with the rate up (on the Venti banner, it's Venti).
If you go all the way to 90 again (180) and get the pity, you will once again have a 50% chance of that unit being the one with the rate up.
Long story short, the moment you get a 5* to pop up, it's a 50% chance of it being Venti, and no matter what, the number resets to 0, needing 90 pulls again to get pity. The hope is that you DON'T need to go all the way to 90, but it's the cushion if your RNG is just very bad.
This is NOT the case with the "Diluc/Jean" banner - that banner has no rate up on any unit, and any 5* will have a chance to be any of the characters or any of the 5* weapons. It functions the same but without the higher chance at a specific character.

I suck at spiral abyss because my character damage output is so low. Right now I am focusing on weapon upgrading and character leveling. I am still doing quests and story mode to further my character progress. I would like to find all the anemoculus by next week. Then hopefully finish revealing the rest of liyue. Regarding the pity system. Is the 4-star counter independent of 5-star (not vice versa)? As in, if you got a 5-stars along the way and it's 4/10 of your way from your next guaranteed 4-stars, does that counter resets?
The opposite definitely isn't true otherwise no one would get 5-stars but the way you say "reach both of this pity awards in a single pull" makes me question it.

Yup obvipusly it also applies to 5 stars. I think what he wanted to say was that this game doesn't give any type of bonus for wishing 10 at a time, lika a lot of other games do. So multi wishing 10 at once is exactly the same as pulling 10 single pulls, there no difference at all

If you have the sudden urge to gacha for particularly no reason, do normal banner single roll until you're fed up with the animation. You might stop around 5 because of the long and need to push skip twice to end it quickly

2 Beginner Pulls gave me Beidou, Noelle, Ningguang, Bennett
I did 1 10x Interwined Fate the Venti Banner which gave me Diluc, Fischl, I did 1 10x Acquainted Fate the Standard Banner which gave me Chongyun, Xingjiu
Intertwined is GREAT I got Diluc on my first 10 pull on Venti Banner not kidding
Make a new account and roll to see if you get a better pull in beginning then play that account BEAT THE SYSTEM
Chongyun can't combine with Oz, they will negate each other. Not entirely negate but the point is they will render super-conduct effect useless. Not just Oz tho, any electric based characters won't work well with Chongyun. UNLESS, Fischl is your main DPS, not chongyun.
No, you. I disagree I have video clips of it working and I use Xingqiu for wet Effect to freeze enemies the superconduct works otherwise I wouldn’t see it say it on screen maybe you should better build your elemental resonance

@@angevaile I think what he means is that the superconduct debuff reduces physical defense. However, as long as you hit inside chongyun circle you will not deal physical damage, but cryo. So the debuff is wasted. The proc still happens of course

There is no difference in single vs multi wish other than you can stop whenever you want with singles so there is no reason not to end your day off with converting all those premo gems into wishes for your preferred banner and making as many wishes as you can. Don't forget to spend your glitter on wishes as well at 5 per wish (unless you are saving for a weapon or if one of the 2 offered glitter characters are ones you want/want constellations for.
