People use movies to escape from their problems, which we’re lacking these days. Do you want every movie to be realistic without the light-hearted nature?

I don't know what to tell you. Escapism exists for a reason and if you can't find that in a movie, watch a TV show or read a book. It seems like you have a miserable life that you can't see the bright things in life.
My top five are: Ariel and Eric in The Little Mermaid Anakin and Padme in Star Wars Shrek and Fiona in Shrek Edward and Bella in Twilight Jack and Sally in The Nightmare Before Christmas
No way in hell did Rose and Jack not make this list. It’s a tragic movie that’s hard to smile to I get it, But the fact that these 2 barely shared a scene involving complaining or emotional separation is pretty wholesome in my opinion
I mean, I get why Noah and Allie were added, but…I wouldn’t call them a “Wholesome Couple”. If anything, their elderly versions are wholesome. Also, Brandon and Jamie are not #1?! 😰
My pick for most wholesome couple is Belle and the Beast simply because ( like myself) even though he was ugly AF on the outside she still chose to look past that to see his inner character
Troy and Gabriella's relationship is so fabricated that Disney forced Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens to date in real life so they could promote this movie
Moral of the story: If the couple in question is composed of two attractive, straight people, then is wholesome If they are not attractive or straight, then it isn't wholesome Hollywood, ladies and gentlemen
The Notebook?? Noah and Allie are so unhealthy....he's basically a stalker - harassing her, not taking no for an answer. I can't even watch this movie.

Literally everytime I watch 13 going on 30 I ball my eyes out when it reveals that Matt and Jenna live in the dollhouse
