It’s almost like he refuses to read any text on the screen!!! Didn’t read about the lightning, didn’t read about perilous attacks, and completely skips some dialogue and eavesdrops. Yet somehow he flies through this at godspeed like a true moist master.
He is reading most things, he read about the lightning counter he even says "i don't quite understand" afterwards. Learn to be a speed reader like all the "cool" kids.

Everyone says Sekiro is all about deflecting, but watching Charlie shows me that if you’re good you can do a mix of deflects and dodging, even if dodging does get heavily punished

He’s not lucky, he just feels much more confident in dancing with a boss after fighting lady butterfly. Which is what Genichiro is meant to teach you since he can’t keep up with you when you continue to pressure him.
On a first playthrough her being one of the first bosses she's pretty hard. Not her attacks but just chipping away at her health. In my opinion I first found her to be fun because it felt like a skill test

@@Raspberry_25 to beat jouzu (I think that’s the big guys name) I ran around and killed everyone, then I snuck up on him then I called the npc guy to help. That’s the best way to do it imo. And gyobu was so weak😂😂 trust me after you get a grasp of parrying and timings bosses become “easy”
One thing that drives me crazy about Cr1tiKaL and this game is that dying is what gives you dragonrot. Reviving gives you a chance to avoid dragon rot. He has this backwards though and thinks that dying keeps from dragonrot. Just in case someone is starting this game and watching Cr1tiKaL: Take everything Cr1tiKaL says with a grain of salt.
Honestly i see where he's coming from i would have assumed the same. Think of it like "you can revive yourself, but you'll give npcs dragon rot" that way you'll have to revive only if it's necessary and you'll need to not always depend on it. It makes sense but it's obviously not the case.

if it was a blind playthrough, you wouldn't even find out about Hirata until you beat Genichiro at the castle because Kuro is the one that tells you to offer the charm at the temple which in turn takes you to the estate

I beat genichiro after 45 mins of continuously trying at it...one thing i figured out was to use the shuriken and the skill which enables you to immediately move to hit the opponent right after using the shuriken...really helped me to interrupt genichiro whenever he tried to do that jumping bow action move.
Yah I had that move, then I ran our of emblems . So since the lazy person I am, to farm more emblems I defeated him with my normal moveset. Nothing special. Took me two days tho lol
