      You were the 2nd person I ever listened to that inspired me to start a biz. I tried to start a window washing biz at 15 because of you. I gave up😂. But I've actually come full circle and am doing a landscaping biz and about to start window washing residential... Love you man! And Jesus is real bro. I know He's been after your life for a while.

    I was walking around passing flyers all day. I did meet some grumpy ones but people are supportive specially when they see that you have the work ethic. I finally got one call about two hours ago going there tomorrow to give him an estimate it’s supposedly an overgrown brush and bushes.

    I have watched in a lot of landscape tips and advice and this was really a fantastic video. I've been running my business like this but without my foot on the peddle very much. You're so right and this has been a great reminder. I look forward to hearing more of your content. And it's nice that you're not saturating us with self promotion about your own mastermind, a course that you sell, And telling us how many times you're crushing over $200,000 a year and closing $10000 months and $50000 months. I just really appreciate it I like listening to somebody who's just giving out great content

      I would set aside a marketing budget for paid leads, that’s the problem with non repeat jobs, do as much organic marketing as you can, after you’ve done all the organic marketing then move to paid ads on different sites and search engines and apps, then start paying for leads. Hopefully your making a lot per job

    Here is what I dont understand. How can you make money cutting Lawns? I mean the average home is a $45 or $50 cut. You have 4 guys working for you at $16 -$18 an hour. Explain to me how you (profit) make money saying you do 100 yards per week..Math : 100 x $50 = $5K a week. Now you are paying 4 guys x 18 x 40 hours = $2880.00 payroll thats if they don't get overtime. Leaves you with $2,100. Now factor in fuel, oil, etc. I mean you are lucky to come out with $1500 a week. Hell, I made $2200 a week in construction as a project manager with less headache. Someone tell me I'm wrong here..I'm listening! Yes I understand you may or may not get mulch jobs, and lawn care like fertilizing and aerating etc but thats a big maybe. Just curious on Lawn Management only here. Thanks!

    • @mitchellgrawe2010
      @mitchellgrawe2010 Год назад

      I think the way to make more money is to charge more and be honest that you are running a business that will be around. Justifying your picking by being a repeat business is the only way there. I agree lots of guys are really cheap which is why lawn care is a different beast.

    It would be nice if lawn mowers would stop calling themselves landscapers

    • @Usmc913
      @Usmc913 Месяц назад

      True. If you just mow and can't do anything else. You're not a landscaper. Even cleaning up for spring / fall. Hardscape and landscape installs are way different. If I didn't have to mow I'd sell all my mowers but it can get your foot in the door. Other than commercial mowing is easy and pays well.
