Death Stranding is an action game developed by Kojima Productions. It is the first game from director Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions after their disbandment from Konami in 2015. It is set to be released for the PlayStation 4 by Sony Interactive Entertainment in November 2019, and for Microsoft Windows by 505 Games in 2020. The title of the game is a reference to the cetacean stranding phenomenon.
Death Stranding is set in an open world, which also includes multiplayer functions. Kojima compared the genre to how his earlier game Metal Gear - now considered to be a stealth game - was called an action game during its release because the stealth genre was not considered to exist at the time.
People have created "Walls" and become accustomed to living in isolation. Death Stranding is a completely new type of action game, where the goal of the player is to reconnect isolated cities and a fragmented society. It is created so that all elements, including the story and gameplay, are bound together by the theme of the "Strand" or connection. As Sam Porter Bridges, you will attempt to bridge the divides in society, and in doing create new bonds or "Strands" with other players around the globe. Through your experience playing the game, I hope you'll come to understand the true importance of forging connections with others.
Actors Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Margaret Qualley, Tommie Earl Jenkins, Troy Baker, and Lindsay Wagner provided motion capture, 3D scannings and vocal performances, while film directors Guillermo del Toro and Nicolas Winding Refn are also featured.

I just want to say that I’ve watched many channels that I eventually got tired of but yours is one of the few exceptions. I have never grown bored or tired of your content. I’ve tried to do video game walkthroughs on here and it’s not easy but you just have a way of making them interesting. I got into GTA V 3 years ago because of this channel and I’ve playing since. Words cannot describe how much of an impact your channel has had on my life. When my mother passed in 2018, your channel got me through it. Keep up the amazing work, Brad!

I just finished the game no spoilers, but now I can finally finish watching your playthrough. You started before me and I was surprised when I actually caught up even though I took 3 weeks off for college finals and projects. Honestly Brad just keep going. You have to finish it even if the views keep going down. The ending is crazy.

Brad, you don't have to link the zipline on that snowy mountain with just two ziplines, you can have an intermediary one in the middle to circumvent the "obstacle detected" issue.

About three years too late. Yes, those are feet on the whale skeleton. Whales used to be land animals that walked on 4 legs. Slowly, they returned to the sea and no longer needed legs for locomotion. Eventually, their legs atrophied, but the bones remain as vestigial markers of their ancestor's roaming the land.
