@bengal if you’re having trouble with running IDK if u know this yet but using right trigger before you’re past the line of scrimmage will make the defense shed blocks quicker.
Reminds me of Madden 25 when you could draft Leon Sandcastle and there was a RB Ben Bones that would declare for the draft, then play a year of baseball, and then declare for the next draft and be drafted. The announcer used to give a little paragraph on certain players drafted. I don’t think it’d be hard to introduce more stories and interesting development into franchise like players leaving to play other sports or retiring for no reason, just random shit that makes it’s a little more challenging. Needless to say, I love the draft system this year too lmao
well it's interesting to know exactly how EA defines it vs the just "oh if the player is an 83+ overall they are generational" vs just in individual attributes
I've noticed a lot in the sim when you get into the created RBs, that you want stronger rather than faster running backs. Most of the real RBs you see still around like 2030 still have good strength and I always see that as a better determination of insane Yard Per Carry then speed. Just what I've noticed with someone like Najee Harris, he gets to a 99 and in the sim he will go for 2200 easy
The randomization of franchise has been fun. Today I upgraded Devin White and got +2 speed up to 94. Wild! But the gameplay is frustrating. You can put interception slider at 0 and they’ll still pick off everything.
@Garlic Maioli drafted him w 96 throw power, accuracies was 75 deep, 88 medium, 90 short with like 76 throw on the run. 83 speed, 85 accel, and I think like low 80’s agility. He did have X factor as well. Again I’m not 100% sure Wht would make him “generational” or not but I’m sure as u can imagine he’s super fun to play w in game
I think you're learning the same thing I've learnt on my longer rebuilds. Playbooks aren't as OP as they were last year. They still dictate a lot, that's just how the game works, with no system to make players play uniquely. But there's no dominant team/playbook like last year. Some playbooks still make QBs overperform like crazy but it doesn't exactly lead to team success as much as in madden 22.
@@Enlightenment99 Its interesting. Im not sure what the odds of a generational player is let alone a generational kicker. Not to mention the fact Wyatt Anthony is arguably better than Justin Tucker who is considered to be the best in the league.
I was doing a bears franchise and got a QB with 98 speed and X factor development at a 79 ovr so wasn’t sure at the time but he was probably generational and it was my first draft in that franchise
I got a 78 overall SS-XFactor LT in a draft. Totally lucked into him. Never ever had I seen an XF OL before this in any madden. Unfortunately XF doesn’t give him any extra abilities.
One thing you could do in the coach upgrades is stop regression for one position for 1 year. This could keep him a higher overall for longer. But love the vids keep it up 👍
Based on what I hear from other RUclipsrs and my experience with the difficulties, it’s much harder to break tackle on all-madden. Also, all madden tends to change the thresholds for certain animations and behaviors so that could be it.
Definitely. All Pro vs All Madden is a world of difference when it comes to anims. User players also dont stick and you have to actually make contact when tackling
These generational prospects are out of hand. The fact that you can draft Chris Johnson combined with Saquon Barkley is absolutely absurd. Athletes can only get so good lol. Barkley should be as good as it gets with RB prospects
I love these videos! I really liked the WR video. It does feel more enjoyable to watch the generational player when they get to play with current players tho.
Was fun to see the Rams running back who was an 80 overall in that draft finish behind Talbott to show us a Normal high overall player vs a Generational player He still ended up high on the leaderboards in Yards and TD's
I started with Carolina panthers. Wound up with 3rd overall pick. I didn’t trade up but qb Austin luck was there. He looked like Andrew luck and had 96 throw power and accurate. He was 79 overall and superstar xfactor. I changed playbook to bucs and he threw for bunch of td’s. He won the mvp which I did work on his skills a lot. 98 by end of the same rookie year. Insane!!!
My brother drafted a generational QB who was an 81 overall. He had 98 throw power. Mid 80s for all accuracy. 80ish speed and accel. Drafted as a Superstar X factor. Here the classic Madden part. He keeps getting the draft glitch so he can't advance his franchise and try and play with him. Everytime he tries it boots him out for "inactivity" and it's right back at the draft. Fkin Madden I swear. He quit playing lol.
josh jacobs during one of my sim years went for 1990 rushing yard 21 touchdowns 5 receiving touchdowns and 657 yards receiving and didn’t win offensive player of the years he lost to johnathon taylor which who rushed for god damn 2200 yard and 25 touchdowns and 700 receiving yards 8 touchdowns we battled in the super bowl took the dub
If you don't mind me asking lets say you draft a wide reciver with 99 speed and X-Factor and he is only a 77 would that still count as a genoratial player
POV: Aqeel Edmonds is a generational running back? Really thought we were getting Giants Franchise, but if this dude is half as good as Reggie Knight, this’ll be a great video.
My dearest pal bengal, please commit to your o-line blocks. You missed 6-7 open field opportunities but chose to swing it out to the side when rushing. Also when using an running back don’t immediately sprint, let the blocks develop and hit the gas when you get a clear path. Edge rushers will break from their assignment much easier if you’re trying to set an Olympic speed record before you pass the line of scrimmage Edit: Spelling
It's been said before, but I don't think Bengal has ever seen the comment, but he'd have a much better time if he used the 'depth chart' option instead of 'adjust lineup' function. The former is 'permanent'; the latter is 'temporary'.. just an FYI. Nonetheless, great content Bengal, I genuinely laugh a lot when watching your vids
they are both "temporary" the thing that auto changes them is when the roster changes in any way for example: preseason cuts, player comes back from injury, player is signed to team, player is cut CPU will auto change roster after any of those events
@@Bengal that's odd. For years, I've only used Depth Chart and never have the problems you do. My players are always set up permanently based upon my changes in that menu; even when returning from injury. If backups become better than starters, I have to go into depth chart and move them up because nothing automatically happens

Okay Bengal
@bengal if you’re having trouble with running IDK if u know this yet but using right trigger before you’re past the line of scrimmage will make the defense shed blocks quicker.
Thought we were gifted another episode of Giants franchise for a second .
I saw the thumbnail on the corner of my phone and thought Cody Bailey was going up to superstar
Sadly not my friend
Fax I got so excited 😅
Same man I was waiting and saw it was 10 pm and then I was like wow he’s not even gonna post
Me too bro lol
I love that Bengal seems to love the draft system and the concept of gen players on Madden this year. 🥺🥺🥺
Reminds me of Madden 25 when you could draft Leon Sandcastle and there was a RB Ben Bones that would declare for the draft, then play a year of baseball, and then declare for the next draft and be drafted. its just so much better than Madden22 we cant help but like it
Yeah overall the draft system is a lot of fun this year so it's good to see Bengal having fun with it.
The draft this year is outstanding, definitely the most enjoyable part of franchise. Now if they could only fix the gameplay lol.
I think that’s actually a cool way to define it. It’s true to real life, like Calvin Johnson’s speed for his size or (arguably) Toney’s elusiveness.
If you keep doing these for a while it would be cool to eventually make a franchise with all of the generational talents in it and see what happens
The contract year would be so stressful
That first juke/stutter was honestly the nastiest move I've ever seen in madden. Then the fumble 😂
Thanks for the explanation of what a generational player is, Bengal
well it's interesting to know exactly how EA defines it vs the just "oh if the player is an 83+ overall they are generational" vs just in individual attributes
The first ever draft pick I made in madden 23 was an 85 overall rb with 98 speed. He has broken the single season rushing record 3 years in a row.
I've noticed a lot in the sim when you get into the created RBs, that you want stronger rather than faster running backs. Yes but in game they are both viable
The randomization of franchise has been fun. Today I upgraded Devin White and got +2 speed up to 94. Wild! But the gameplay is frustrating. You can put interception slider at 0 and they’ll still pick off everything.
So now I know that I got a generational QB in my Panthers franchise. 78 overall, but had 96 speed and other insane physicals with X Factor
Me too i drafted a 79 QB with 99 SPEED
I drafted a 79 overall QB with 96 throw power and 90 short accuracy. Can’t tell if he’s generational or not he’s fun to use in game tho
@Garlic Maioli he’s got 83 speed w 85 acceleration tho

Have to disagree bro falcons playbooks work like chiefs used to
Hope Bengal is able to get a generational player in his giants franchise, would be electric
I think Wyatt Anthony is
@@Enlightenment99 Its interesting. Im not sure what the odds of a generational player is let alone a generational kicker. Not to mention the fact Wyatt Anthony is arguably better than Justin Tucker who is considered to be the best in the league.

You know Bengal is bad at running the ball when you give him a 99 Speed 99 Acceleration 95+ Break Tackle X-Factor RB and he gets 2-3 yards a carry.
💀
@@yolkyboi5916 I woke up and chose violence with my comment today haha.
This is going to be so exciting! Love the RB position.

@Garlic Maioli ik I was joking
@Garlic Maioli bro took it personally
Lol at the start I thought it it was lions franchise. Go vid begal, keep up the good work
RBs can be sick in this year's game. Drafted one in 3 of 4 of my leagues and each one has destroyed records
I got an 87 RB in one of my rebuilds I did. That’s the best rookie I’ve ever seen
User players also dont stick and you have to actually make contact when tackling
this guy feels like a super fast Maurice Jones-Drew, well he's a little taller too
These generational prospects are out of hand. The fact that you can draft Chris Johnson combined with Saquon Barkley is absolutely absurd. Athletes can only get so good lol. Barkley should be as good as it gets with RB prospects
There was a 99 overall running back in one of our drafts, a 90 LE, and a 90 QB. From an autogenerated class
27:05 96 speed as an old man is crazy😭 sometimes to keep balance. I look at rosters and edit the overalls, based off of what generally happens irl
I love these videos! I really liked the WR video. It does feel more enjoyable to watch the generational player when they get to play with current players tho.
Bengal, you should do a career sim of a generational cb with less than 90 speed
That's what I thought Brinkley was gonna be, sad he didn't pick him, he should do a update on him fosho, Wana see how he's doing
@@yolkyboi5916 He had star dev. Wasn't generational

So judging by that definition of generational player… Wyatt Anthony is a generational Kicker!
YES
For better juke results, hold down the left trigger instead of the right trigger. Idk why they coded the game like that, but they did
Its the new hard cut mechanics
I had a generational TE 80 overall. All elite athletics. Was a 94 after 2 seasons lol.
if you start a franchise from Week 1 of the regular season then you get a generational RB called Zach James. 95-96 speed out of the draft.
Bro Bengal these are some of my favorite videos please keep doing them!
right when I needed a bengal video
An interesting video could be drafting a generational player, changing their position, and seeing how good they can become… WR to CB, QB to S, etc
the thumbnail got me excited 🥲
The craziest prospect ive ever drafted was a normal dev qb, 78 ovr, but he had 99 break sack and 97 throw power.
21-21… our runningback playing like a savage so it’s fitting

1:22 foreshadowed Brandon Parks
Bengal:what are you doing growing it yourself
Farmers: yes, yes I am
“21-21, our Running back is a savage so it’s fitting” 😂😂
Needed to make sure he was first on depth chart for 3rd down rb and power hb. Would get more touches.
I got an 89 running back today. Unreal bro
I had a rb that was a 87 ovr, with 97 spd, and 80’s for mostly every stat
I got a 99 throw power qb with him being 84 overall but isn’t generational x-factor he was just superstar
Love the content Bengal! Keep Striving!🧡
I have a giants franchise and in my first year I got a generational 99 speed qb in the back end of the 1st
Bengal explaining he can call Brian Frazier a kid because he’s older then him in the current day when the guy doesn’t exist is hilarious 😹
Dude just kept it going 🤣
Definitely should be purchasing the reduce regression bucket the first year these players regress big time
George Talbott sounds like your insurance agent
I found a generational Running Back named Cliff Avril who was a 86 overall coming out of the draft
Video idea: Create a team full of 99 ovr's and try to have the most insane statistacal season ever
The juke is one of his abilities.
So fun thing I noticed (atleast on 22) the xfactors do seem to affect their stats
Willie Parker was number 39....lmao
Mendenhall who had a run in with ray lewis his rookie season had no 34, Parker was 39.
You put jukebox on him that's why he is juking so well
Real ones remember Banjawl

The best player I’ve drafted this year was an 87 HB straight out the draft. Wonder if it’s possible for 88-89
I drafted a 85 over corner I was pissed because my staff cut him and by time I could trade for him he was old as hell
