- This inspiring video "Sharon's Song" needs to reach the world for Parkinson's Disease Awareness and hope for a cure. I lost my mother and my best friend due to Pd, but she lives on through memories, and it is my drive and motivation for my advocacy today. I spend 24/7 fighting for a cure in memory of my mother for all those battling PD today and their families. My goal is also to ensure that no one throughout the world going through this disease ever feels alone. You are not alone, and I will fight by your side until a cure is at your doorsteps..... My mother will never be forgotten through your kindness, support, and sharing of these memories that will live on forever. PD does not define a person and can never take away the memories that we all cherish forever.... Thank you. Sharon's son, George.
