I was hoping so much that I could finish this very special video before the end of the year, and I'm so glad I made it.^^ This year has been so painful for so many people, and I truly hope that this can give you all some well deserved relaxation and positive energy.
And honestly thank you so much for everyone who has supported me through all the years, you have no idea what a huge difference you make for me. When I started this channel I was 19, and now this Christmas I will turn 31, which is just insane to me, it's been over 11 years! This will sound cheesy but I don't care, it's just the truth, I owe you guys everything. Because of this channel, which basically means because of you, I quite literally turned from a very depressed and lonely teenager into a happily married man with hope for the future. So when I say thank you, you can't even imagine how deeply I mean those words. Thank you guys, so much.

It was always my dream to make enough money to survive with music being my only job, and that is only possible because of people who go and buy that music.
Remixing, sampling and other forms of altering the original song into a new piece of music is also generally not allowed unless the remix is 100% non-commercial and labelled with the original title and author of the song (me). Adding bird noises, nature sounds or similar things are allowed. Nightcore alterations are also allowed while non-commercial and labelled with original title and author (Google "Nightcore" in case of confusion).
So if your project is non-commercial or a RUclips project, just give credits and there is nothing holding you back from using my songs. ANY song you want. =) If it's commercial stuff just write me a personal message or an email at adrianvonziegler@gmx.ch and inform me about the scale and details of the project and we'll make a deal.

Additionally, forgive me for asking but I am not familiar with legal specifics, is a project which is available for free but accepts donations still "non-commercial"?

Hi I love your music and I would like a clear straight forward answer on this because i'm a big fan of the masterpieces you've worked hard to create. Would it be alright with you adrian von ziegler if i can use any song I'd like from your library of music for a gaming video such as minecraft because these pieces are truly worthy of much more money than you charge for the full library you've got. i will credit your work all the way because people really need to listen to this and be at peace as they listen.
My friend, let me tell you that I am soon 22 years old. Everytime I listen to your music I am 13 again, sitting in my room alone with one soruce of light, raining outside there I am writting fantasy short stories about lost folk of elves, wise dragons and young brave heroes. I remember part 1, all the music compiled there was my elementary school life. That magical sorta tune I was looking for to immerse myself in a world created with my friend. I still have drafts in my email where we would plan everything out, drawing inspiration from your tunes, so many youtube video links among other thoughts.
11 years later, in college with all that fun stuff, and you're still going strong with your music- that magic is still there. Though me friend and I have long parted ways, it's such a nice melody to listen back onto, and the music you're composing today still has echos of those melodies of the past- in the best way possible. Something about the way the song tells that story, or that regal vibe that carries through every piece. A nice break from the burdens of life, immersing myself back into that world that once was.

I can't even explain what type of connection I have with Celtic music, it's something that has been with me my whole life.
Good to listen to while painting miniature models. The music itself is great too and I can hear myself think while it is on, so thank you whoever recorded this, really really appreciate it - so much more relaxed. Walking helps too, ideally someone you can have a chilled conversation with 🙂

My son is 2 weeks old almost and he is soothed by the music and I've listened to it to calm me when my anxiety kicks in. And it works like a charm so I feel you .. I put it on for me. Cuz I'm a little over welmed not getting much sleep because I have to be. I every 2 hours to feed my son. And I put this on to. Relax me and calm my mind in meditation and my son was up wailing at the top of his lungs I put this on and he just calmed down and went to sleep.

Normally, I hate studying lessons but while listening these songs it helps me.
I've listened to more than one of your mixes over the last couple years.. this one is possibly the best. The beauty and the sorrow, as well as joy mixed with nostalgia, have all matured elegantly.
I have Celtic blood this life, but I also remember past lives (for those who do understand this sort of thing) where the Golden Era was quite lovely indeed, in all its glory and drama. Such as was required of humanity.
