    Just a quick one today dealing with those pesky dark edges you can get with certain camera setups. As always thanks for the support and more info in the description.

    keep up! where from do you learn? is it a guide or a course?

    • @NathanCarterVids
      @NathanCarterVids  4 года назад +1

      Thank you. For learning I'd highly recommend Black Magic's free courses. They teach you how to use the tools in a great general sense and give you a great starting point. You can check it out here: www.blackmagicdesign.com/ca/products/davinciresolve/training
      There's also mixing light which is great, but does require a subscription and that can be a deal breaker for some folks. Hope that helps.

    Nathan,
    What a well explained Tutorial for a very complex situation,
    Thank You,
    I now have a challenge for you,
    I've asked a few of you RUclips Teachers without an answer so far,
    the Question is:
    To make a Simple Page Corner / Edge Curl effect,
    like a Book Page Opening to reveal the next page,
    and with Options to adjust the Curl for any Corner or Edge of the frame,
    Please accept this Gauntlet I've thrown down for you !

      Thank you I really appreciate that. Now as much as I don't want to let you down, being completely honest VFX is without a doubt the weakest part of my game. I'll look into it, but I won't promise it any time soon. I wish I could be of more help. Thank you for your continued support.

    Interesting Nathan for non symmetric luminance rolloff. Thanks. Very topical for me as well given I’ve been looking at mitigators for the RF35mm severe vignetting. Slightly off topic, is there a way to save a node for future use? I have a node which fixes my f1.8 vignetting but have only found copy and pasting nodes working. Appreciate your vids!!

      So if you're using it between projects, I'd say saving it as a powergrade is a good option. Just apply the node to a clip. Select the powergrades folder in your gallery then go over to your viewer and select grab still. Then if you wanna apply it to to a clip just open up your gallery go into powergrades, right click the still and append node graph so it adds it to your existing grade. Hope that helps. You could also use groups as a per project basis and I have a video breaking down how to use those.
