Freddie Mercury entered the building in the guise of Marc Martel. This Concert was actually a HAPPENING as we used to say in the 60's. All credit to everyone who graced the stage at this wonderful moment in time. Freddie proved that the Show must go on and Marc delivered an awesome performance. Freddie was such a magical front man but Marc himself is no slouch. Many thanks to everyone who made this possible. 🥰🤩🥰

EXCELLENT concert! Marc Martel is EXTREMELY talented. If he was an impersonator, he won’t be able to hit those high notes or won’t be able to sing the ENTIRE Queen’s songs! An impersonator has limits to imitate someone. Marc Martel showed us that his NATURAL talent has NO limits. Everything is possible to God!

Holy shit, there are times that it sounds exactly like Freddie, it scared me on Who Wants To Live Forever and Bohemian Rhapsody, very, very similar for the most part!!
And this is not even his final form, lol. After he'd hurt his voice the previous day, he struggles with high notes here. Marc sounds much better when he's in better vocal health. Case in point - *Too Much Love Will Kill You* video that was posted earlier on this channel.
he even sings better live than Freddie did, i always felt a major disapointment when Freddie chickened out from his high notes so this is just perfect :)

It was confirmed that Marc's mom went to NY that night for the concert.
Edit: Freddie broke up with Mary Austin in Dec 76. Reason? He knew he already has a 1-month old son.

Adam is a great singer and he gives it all he has with Queen. I very much enjoyed their concert, but his voice doesn't resemble Freddies voice at all. Very different characteristics.

I have been listening to the CD; Downhere - Ending is Begining for a few years now. I thought cool it's "Queen". Yesterday I thought I would look this band up especially the singer and I am so glad I did. I grew up listening to Queen. I had no idea this was going on with the man I now know as Marc Martel. Hearing him gives me shivers as his voice has become so close to Freddy's. The band Downhere was formed in Saskatchewan where I grew up and I think Marc must be on a very special journey and can't wait to see where it leads in God. He has been given a very uncanny gift and miracle. I have listened to a few ELVIS impersonators and none are as close to the real thing as this.
