Just over 40 years ago, can't believe it.. I remember I was trembling all day at school, it was an early kick off being played in the then Eastern Bloc, and I was useless after lunchtime!
Rushed home in time for John Craven's Newsround to find out the result: 'Liverpool are... through to the European Cup Final in Rome!' You bastard John, you nearly gave a kid a heart attack! Couldn't wait for Sportsnight later lol
