I am SO happy for you Kaleb. Leaving my role as a public school dance teacher to focus on being a mom while still being able to teach guard part time is the BEST move I’ve made. I now get to have more energy to devote to entrepreneurial endeavors, which you and I both know will pay off in the long run. Best of luck and I can’t wait to see the new direction your channel takes!
I loved watching your band content! But also glad to see you are following your heart & doing what you want. Uhhh... I wished I had some suggestions but I can't think of anything. If I do, I'll be back to let you know. :)
Hey man, it’s all good, my band director, Christopher Kanicki decided to leave summit too, so your not alone. Everybody deciding to leave for better stuff and quite frankly sometimes change is a good thing. Good luck man
Kaleb, I am sorry to hear that you are leaving the field of education, but I can understand why you have decided to do so. A suggestion or two, as far as new content? Discuss what you had to learn about band teaching/music teaching after you had graduated college, the paperwork side of things and such. So many people enter into education starry eyed and ill prepared for the paperwork that goes into it. Also, maybe a series on some of the administration issues that you, or others you know, have had to deal with when it comes to school administration and teaching the arts. I know that this can be a very hot button subject, but it is something that should be addressed. Too many new teachers don't realize how important it is, and stumble along the way because of this. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors, and hope to get together one day to catch up and maybe reminisce about our UNT days. Good luck in all you do.
Thanks for the feedback! I think now that I'm out of the game, I can give an honest and unfiltered opinion, without fear of backlash from admin or parents.
@@thefuturemillionairebanddi4528 That's most likely a fairly safe bet, at this point. And who better than someone like you, who expresses himself clearly and succinctly in most every situation that I've had the pleasure of being able to witness. All the best, man. May you and yours enjoy every happiness.
Maybe you could give tutorials on playing certain instruments Review band videos and give feedback Advice videos to young and new teachers Unfiltered story times from your years in band and teaching band
I had an opportunity for a remote gig with a raise. Hard to pass up. I was in Barcelona this summer, it was AMAZING! Highly recommend the Picasso Museum.
