1. 주께서 문에 오셔서
곧 열어 달라 하실 때
왜 지체하며 안 열고
너 어찌 박대하느냐
2. 십자가 상처 입으신
인자한 주의 그 모습
비할 데 없는 그 사랑
원수도 사랑하셨네
3. 피 묻은 옷을 입으신
주 예수 네게 오셨네
그분은 너의 친구요
죄인의 친구 되시네
4. 네 마음 문을 열고서
주 예수 맞아들이면
주께서 너를 돌보며
큰 복을 내려 주시리

1.Be-hold! a Stran-ger at the door
He gen-tly knocks, has knocked be-fore,
Has wait-ed long, is wait-ing still;
You treat no oth-er friend so ill.
2.Ad-mit Him, for the hu-man breast
Ne'er en-ter-tained so kind a Guest;
The Man of Naz-a-reth, 'tis He,
With gar-ments dyed at Cal-va-ry.
3.Yet know, nor of the terms com-plain,
If Je-sus comes, He comes to reign,
To reign, and with no par-tial sway;
Tho'ts must be slain that dis-o-bey.
4.Oh, let the heaven-ly Stran-ger in
Let, in thy heart, His reign be-gin.
Ad-mit Him, op-en wide the door,
And He will bless thee ev-er-more.
