    For its size this is a pretty neat boat, but three things let it down: the choice of wood colour, the flimsy steps to upper deck, (should have spent a bit more on a sturdy built in staircase) and the canopy over fly bridge - again flimsy and temporary looking.

    Very nice tour, but I offer two suggestions: 1) Try not to let your voice drop off at the end of your sentences; it becomes hard to hear you, and the point of the whole sentence can be lost. 2) Animate your voice a bit, so it sounds less like you’re reading from a script. Very nice though.

    How are the two large windows in the main stateroom designed for rough seas? What prevents a breach?

    • @larrypatterson3957
      @larrypatterson3957 5 лет назад

      @@DenisonYachting Okay, I get the Deadliest Catch reference, but with over 1000 gallon fuel capacity I would imagine one might do a little more than putt around the harbor. I have seen Nordhavn boats with plexiglass guards for their windows (which are much higher above the WL than these) for offshore motoring. I was curious if this boat had any type of protection for the near the waterline windows should you get into the sudden squall. Are guards required or needed? Maybe it is in the design. Just wondering.
      Thanks,

      This is the link for the BoatTest review of the 52. It highlights the best cruise speed and range at that. Although I don't believe this going to be your transatlantic trawler due to range, she's built very well and can withstand the bigger blue water. The current owner has had the boat throughout the Bahamas, Florida Keys, and up to New England as well.

      @@LeonAllanDavis a very fair question... the market has asked for faster boats (and more efficient boats). which is why the Swift Trawlers have out sold all other trawler brands in the US the last couple of years...

      @@DenisonYachting Oh...now I get it... That makes sense. It is a "fast trawler". Hence the name.
      A lot like a "schooner". Like the "Bluenose". If memory serves, the Bluenose was patterned after Newfoundland fast fishing schooners. The first ones into port in the morning got the highest prices for their catch. There has to be a marketing angle in their somewhere...

    Looks a bit on the cheap side but I guess you get what you pay for with this one

    Never heard of panning don’t you?!?😊😊😊 as well as making the video as continues as possible...😊😊😊 both will make it easier for viewers to get the idea of the layout of the boat... you got nice pics with what you’re doing but that’s what you have... pictures and not videos...🤣🤣🤣 might as well do slides...🤣🤣🤣

      Denison Yachting he’s good... it’s only the camera man or how the camera is set up that’s annoying...😊😊😊 the lay out of the boat is as important as some of the features...😊😊😊

    Ugly interior, too much shinny panels great for finger prints. But I'm looking for a trawler so I guess if that's all you carry I'll go for Grand banks instead!
